People want their freedom, and as the saying goes, it's their body so it's their choice. People are allowed to riot, dine with Newsom, fly out of Denver and get hair cuts, but dang it if you just want to try to stay in business so you can pay your bills.

And I love the idea of the owners declaring their bar an autonomous zone.

BTW, doesn't arresting someone mean the cops are now in very close proximity to the people they're arresting, and aren't people in prison being released because of the china virus?

Hypocrisy makes for poor company, but a fool grants his approval through acquaintanceship. What I mean is its perfectly ok to point out these leaders who hypocritically ignore their own rules and demand they be held accountable, but to join them in king makes one just as wrong if not more so for having known better.

Democratic Party is the party of Fascism in America.... proven by their actions once again.

The man likely had nothing to lose except his Liberty, so he went with... "Give me freedom.... or give me death." I hope when he gets in front of the judge those are his words.

I would do the same thing if I was a bar or restaurant owner that took precautions yet was still shut down.

    LOL... Right? It's really funny!?

Your callous disregard for others' livelihood being stomped on by Authoritarian Government tells us who you really are.

did you support Trump's guidelines to shut down the country? or his reopen guidelines that no state has yet met

Trump says we are at war with a invisible enemy, and he is a wartime President, Trump declared a national emergency

Trump declared us all soldiers in this war

Curiosity forces me to ask, if a bar stays open, and nobody chooses to visit it, then the bar will go out of business, or realize it's folly in being open. But if people choose to visit it, the patron has made an active choice. They are responsible for their actions, or at least people were.

Is the government now expanding the belief that they know better than the individual? Where is that line drawn?

yep and the virus is still here, it did not magically go away when it warmed up like Trump said it would, and the reopen guidelines are still in effect, Trump never recended them, so do you agree with Trump?

It did basically go away when it warmed up. I bet it will also magically go away once the election is over

Could it be any clearer that politicians believe they are special and that we should do as they say not as they do?

"Laws are for little people" appears to be the governing philosophy in Washington and state capitols around the country.

Declaring oneself an autonomous zone pretty much screws them out of any ignorance of the law defense of plea for leniency. Might as well enter a guilty plea and use the money for a lawyer on the fine instead.

If she was so inclined she could probably make a lot of money practicing the world's oldest profession. The guy before her, Mike, might make a centerfold in National Geographic but that's about it.
