I want to keep posting stories like these so Democrats understand that even the politicians who implement these rules done take them seriously... and that your elected officials think they are more important than you.

And for Republicans to understand that even the politicians who implement these rules don't take them seriously.

He should definitely step down for that. Dems have no problem calling out our own. The 20 person wedding thing I am OK with, but you can't take vacations like that while asking people to not travel.

I bet the "trip" to Cabo was part of a larger reception for the family after the wedding. If that is true then it would be even more reckless.

 

This seems to be a common thing, politicians saying "stay at home" while they go about galivanting. It's unfortunate, but I think that politicians always considered themselves above the law for some time. Would be nice if our elected officials held themselves to the standards they hold everyone else to.

 

As I've said before, I'm beginning to think the elites, particularly democrat elites, want people to lock themselves down so it safe for those elites to go out and have a good time. I wonder if this guy blames Trump for the virus?

 

Austin's mayor should have to step down and pay reparations. And he shouldn't be allowed to buy weed at government dispensaries anymore.

 

The mayor is a do-uche. Nobody in Austin likes the guy, and he's a huge hypocrite. And yes, he was in Mexico against travel guidance.

I don't care about the travel and I'd go to Mexico to relax as well... except for the fact that his constituents are being told to stay in their effing homes for the last year of their lives.

He loses my respect for sure but this is actually a good thing. We need more examples of hypocrisy when showing why the moral lockdown rhetoric is to be ignored.

 

If they vote these clowns in again, they deserve to be treated as peasants. Pelosi and her Ilk will be voted in until she drops dead no matter how much she looks down upon them./)
