Los Angeles official who voted for outdoor dining ban says being caught dining out is a non-story

    A Los Angeles County Supervisor who dined at a restaurant in Santa Monica last week just hours after she voted to ban outdoor dining in the county because of coronavirus concerns, told a local reporter on Wednesday that getting caught was a “nonstory.”

    Fox 11 Los Angeles was the first to report this week that county supervisor Sheila Kuehl was seen dining outside at Il Forno Trattoria, an Italian restaurant near her house. Hours before, she had referred to outside dining as “a most dangerous situation” during an Los Angles County Board of Supervisors meeting.

    Fox 11 reporter Pete Wilgoren tweeted Wednesday that Kuehl’s office told him that “dining out is a 'nonstory' story and she is doing no more interviews on it.”

    How many times does it take before a leftist says "you know, maybe you're right. Maybe elected officials really DONT care about Covid as much as they like to pretend they do."

    So hilarious is the irony and hypocrisy of Leftists. And if this was the only example it would be an anomaly. But it’s NOT. The double standard with Democrat leaders telling everyone to stay home, makes it so delicious because so many are getting caught red handed day after day.

    But it’s a NON story. Trump is evil or something.

    If it's really so insignificant to be a non story then their's no reason her vote for a ban should count then. That is unless her and the people who support her are just hypocrites of course.

    I have to ask my ex if her office was involved dealing with this hypocrisy and advising this hypocrite because for years that was her job.

    We've all seen the videos of ultra emotional liberals hyperventilating and almost getting violent because one person isn't wearing a mask. So why are those same people giving her a pass? Willing and blind obedience.

    It's frustrating, and it does send a double message. And that's very unsettling because they are supposed to be trustworthy. If they're not trustworthy, people will naturally not trust them.

    Yes. Let's apply the actions of a County Supervisor in LA County to all Democrats. (Eyeroll).

    I don't know what the problem with outside dining is and I bet most Democrats wouldn't be in favor of the ban without additional info.

    But this is just one example. There are several Democrat leaders who broke their own rules over Thanksgiving. You’d have to watch something besides CNN to see it all. The MSM isn’t covering them for obvious reasons.

    Pelosi did it over the summer and blamed the business, sicking her lawyers on them. Class act.

    "B-B-But it's DIFFERENT when leftists do it!" They should make that an official leftist motto wherever their party . . . rules. I could see it as a tasteful seal inscription beneath the Hammer and Sickle symbol with the words, "This time we will get it right!" just above it.

    Yes, there are several country wide. And they aren't "Democrat rules", they are public health rules and guidelines. They are a bit of a mosaic because there is no leadership in the White House right now.

    But I have no problem calling out the violators. Just stop trying to apply it to the whole party.
