I'm blaming the shutdowns for this. If people were allowed to go back to work they'd be able to pay their rent. With businesses shut down or only open with limitations, a lot of people have lost their income and ability to pay their rent. Someone is going to get screwed, either the tenant or the landlord. It's been said the shutdowns have caused hundreds of thousands of businesses to close their doors forever meaning the people who worked at those businesses have no income. And of course there are people who never had any intentions of paying their back rent and just wanted to live rent free for a while. Did anyone watch Tucker Carlson last night? He had a clip where a woman who owned a restaurant wasn't allowed to use her outdoor dining tent, meaning she's shut down, and literally a few yards away, literally!, a film company had their own outdoor dining tents set up and were allowed to use them. Below is a video of the woman showing Garcetti's hypocrisy which is crippling her. Go to 23:50.
Welcome to Trump's America. Why did Trump do such an Egregious Job, and fail to take the virus seriously in the beginning? Thanks alot, Trump!
Trump didn't create the china virus or bring it to America. And how would Trump prevent a worldwide virus from coming here without quarantining the rest of the world which the left said is racist? And Trump didn't shut down businesses, the left did. And if you look at the second part of my post you'll see where movie companies are allowed to eat under tents but the woman's restaurant, which also has a tent, is forced to close leaving her unable to pay her bills. The left is picking winners and losers and then blaming Trump for the people who lost.
The problem is Democratic voters(such as the one you quoted) like to blame Trump for the actions of Democratic governors in Democratic States. These governors are also the same ones who pushed for Trump to enact the 'national emergency' to enable these conditions to begin with.
