With a key deadline passing Tuesday that all but ends his legal challenges to the election, President Donald Trump’s frenzied campaign to overturn the results has reached an inflection point: Certified slates of electors to the Electoral College are now protected by law, and any chance that a state might appoint a different slate that is favorable to Trump is essentially gone.

Despite his clear loss, Trump has shown no intention of stopping his sustained assault on the American electoral process. But his baseless conspiracy theories about voting fraud have devolved into an exercise in delegitimizing the election results, and the rhetoric is accelerating among his most fervent allies. This has prompted outrage among Trump loyalists and led to behavior that Democrats and even some Republicans say has become dangerous.

So why are there so many so intent on undoing the greatest thing America has going for it?
    The election process.
And why are they willing to fight their neighbor over fake news of fraud? There has NOT been a shred of evidence that says there was fraud to the point of changing any State's vote count to the other candidate.

Like Hilary conceding the day after the election? LOL. Not happening this time around.

So, nope, not like 2016 in any way, shape, or form.

Here's a hint: the law means zero, nada, nothing to democrats. They have already trashed the law, and they are going to trash the Constitution before they're finished. So, who could possibly care? YOU.

Did you ever watch the news while the fair weather democrat anarchists were out rioting and burning down drug and other stores, police cars and whatever else they could get near? Now, ask me again your inane question. You are the one who makes no sense, my friend.

Really? I guess you don’t remember the allegations that Russia controlled our elections , that the election was a sham , it should be overturned , abolish the EC and obviously the rioting that happened soon after and how it all continued for the last 4 years ?

Yeah you are right , this hasn’t come close to being as ridiculous as last election .

They aren't. Meanwhile, Trump and his allies are trying to literally have the results of the election thrown out. They are failing in their fascist ambitions, but it is important to understand that they are trying.

Cults are notorious for rejecting reality and nothing is more un-American than worshipping a person rather than the rule of law. We rejected that notion during the revolutionary war.

They were much better at counting votes back then. They could do it all in a day without any suspicious pause.

You may be a fan of abusing the courts in order to pursue fascist ambitions. I'm not. What do you have against that?

I don't remember Russia controlling our elections. There was the story about how they used influence to try and persuade some to vote. But never did I hear them controlling our elections.
And certainly pushing for it to be overturned.

But, I am always open to more information.
So, start a thread about how Russia controlled the 2016 election. And discuss.

Oh, BTW - Deflection to the topic is a sure the poster doesn't have a real argument to the topic.

Not according to the man trump picked to lead Cybersecurity in charge of elections. This was the most secure and had the most paper ballots to back and track votes.
No suspicious pause. That's fake news. Don't fall for fake news.

JOINT STATEMENT FROM ELECTIONS INFRASTRUCTURE GOVERNMENT COORDINATING COUNCIL & THE ELECTION INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR COORDINATING EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES
Original release date: November 12, 2020

“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history. Right now, across the country, election officials are reviewing and double checking the entire election process prior to finalizing the result.

“When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary. This is an added benefit for security and resilience. This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors. There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.

So is a pause suspicious or is no pause suspicious? You guys are talking out of both sides of your mouth on this one. Make up your mind.

Or post some link to show what it is you're referring to.

First of all, the people who were rioting and burning down stuff were not "democrats". I've heard this bs for a while now, and I'm not a democrat, but it is completely untrue. In fact, most of the ones involved in that behavior in my city aren't into politics. In fact, truth be known, most of them weren't even protesting the treatment of black people by the police, they were just taking advantage to get free stuff and show their butts.
You used the term "anarchists", by definition they aren't Dems or Repubs. You should check your sources.
You seem to be an angry person. It's not good for you.

If your side would agree to an open recount with signature verification in full view of partial observers this wouldn’t be necessary. But since you refuse, we have to go this route. Don’t blame us.
