Do you have knowledge that Giuliani makes more money as Trump's lawyer than he did running his security company? And, just for giggles, I ask how exactly Trump is making money with these lawsuits? If Trump is out to make money, one would think he would at least bank his paycheck.

I agree with much of what you're saying. I'm not convinced either Trump or Giuliani is doing this for money. Trump is doing it because he's a narcissist who is unable to accept the fact that he lost the election - he lives in a dream world of conspiracy theories, and his feelings of persecution (he "knows" he won, so there must be powers that are out to get him) led his mind to invent this one. This is obviously not Trump's first conspiracy theory. I don't think Giuliani's a narcissist, but he does have a big ego - which Trump stokes, and that has led him to embrace this particular conspiracy theory.

He must know very well that his client is lying. . However, in his favour is the fact that he is as gullible as many other Republicans who believe Trump. So many other business people who have put their trust in him, only to be cheated. Trump the chump has sat by, like Nero, and watched the US burn in Covid flames, even encouraging the Virus by his actions and non-actions - except on the golf course. Nero - whose infamous reign is usually associated with tyranny, extravagance and debauchery. The 2 would get on well.

For violating Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.--

Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure ("Rule 11")' is designed to ensure that claims brought in the federal courts have merit and are not brought for an improper purpose. To accomplish these goals, the Rule imposes upon an attorney or litigant' a duty to make a reasonable examination of the merits of and motives behind a claim before signing a paper and filing it with the court. Rule 11 imposes mandatory sanctions for failure to comply with this duty, and the Rule encourages both courts and litigants to play an active role in deterring litigation abuses

I wonder how long it will take for Giuliani to be disbarred. It's been a long time coming.

A reasonable examination of the merits does not include your or any defendant's opinion.

I wonder why the Obama administration officials weren't sanctioned under Rule 11 for their false FISA court application.........

When a judge tells an attorney, "Do you like your law license," I think our opinions are safe. That, and the four dozen rebukes Trump has been handed so far. That you fail to see the obvious is crystal clear.

    Lookie here...Obama.

    Spare me.

Have you not heard? He has a “legal fund” to pay for these lawsuits has been dumping his supporters to ante up and in the fine print most of the money goes into Trumps own bank account

That's an assertion without evidence or analysis. If you've done the work, point me at it.

That the lawsuits have been baseless is supported by their universal failure in court.

And you think they have no merit. Millions of people think they do. Rule 11 doesn't apply.

Imagine what would happen if suspected lies barred attorneys from representing their clients. It would certainly clear the prisons out over time.

Meaningless partisan garbage. It makes you look bad.

You are asking to set aside the fact that Trump lost both popular votes by millions and millions of votes. You’re asking us to set aside the fact that his approval rating never crested 49% and languished for his entire presidency in the high 30’s low 40’s. You’re asking us to set aside the fact that he spent his entire presidency pandering to his consolidated base and vilifying everyone else. You’re asking us to set aside the fact that more than 4 dozen of his post-election lawsuits have been laughed out of every level of court by all stripes of judges. You’re asking us to set aside his woeful response to the virus. You’re asking us to accept myriad overlapping conspiracy theories that would indicate and implicate an international silent coalition of rogue disorganized countries, complicit republicans at every level of government, and an insanely broad spectrum of people organized to subvert an election. You’re asking us to accept this premise and accept a total sidestepping of the Constitution and Democracy writ-large and *install* your losing candidate. How do you not see the level 1000 absurdity in this?

Trump lost. He LOST. It’s no more complicated than those two words. Open your eyes.

It appears we’ve got another issue to clean up. A professional organization that can’t police itself wasting tax payer dollars. Is everyone swinging from the government’s teat one way or another these days?

Lmao. Because you say so? Millions of people are wrong. Rule 11 applies to all civil cases. Sorry, I know Trump ignores laws and requirements he doesn't like. And you along with millions of no nothings just follow along blindly. Trump lost. Deal.

No, it only applies to some cases. Those cases are outlined in the text of Rule 11. I can read as well as you can, Mr. Attorney. How does it apply to your comment? Because you say the cases have no merit. I said millions of people think they do have merit including other attorneys. That makes your comment opinion and you can consider it ignored.

I don't think anyone is too worried about the crap Rudy brings to court. He'll just continue to be shone the door like he has for every other case.

Rudy should keep filing lawsuits. There has to be a judge with balls out there.

That's OK. Being English I sit back and watch the chump make a fool of so many Republicans. The whole of his history is one of lies, deceit, lies, deceit, lost businesses racism. You name it. He's tried it. He can't stand failure but he is a failure. Daddy can't bail him out of this one.
There is. They've all reject bogus claims by a megalomaniac called Trump. . Good on them.

I think that is why so many Trumpers are so emotional over this. They feel foolish having been duped by Trump.
