I thought that kool-aid was a black stereotype.

Well there's voter fraud in every election isn't there?

I don't know. Perhaps yes, perhaps no. We can only deal with the fraud we can prove.

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a phrase bandied about regularly in corporate life, especially when someone wants to take a dig at people with a cult-like belief in something.

You seem to be unfamiliar with something called 'delusion.'

Well, that's extreme, so irrelevant here.

If your base consists of young people, you have rock bands and draw big crowds, like Sanders did. Biden still stomped him.

People who attend rallies are looking to be entertained, not informed. For the most part, anyway.

The guy watching 60 Minutes is the one to worry about, not those chanting and cheering at a rally.

    1. Put the country first.

NO. Trump has always put Trump first regardless of consequences to country.

    2. Seek expert advice.

NO. He only seeks advice from those who cater to his ego and personal needs. He rejects expert advice and even contradicts it if it doesn't fit his agenda, regularly.

    3. Carefully weigh the consequences.

NO. That would be impossible when the answers to 1 & 2 are both NO. Furthermore he often acts impetuously without regard to potential consequences.

Yeah I buy that to a degree. Negative partisanship is the name of the game in 2021. "I want you to lose more than I want to win", so to speak.

Makes for great entertainment, if nothing else.

I see. They aren't liars, they are delusional. I'm not sure that is better.

Then why did he implement a mitigation campaign to states on the basis of Fauci's advice?

I don't know why people find it improbable that a president who was almost never over 50% approval rating lost.

Yeah, I'm not sure that it's any better either, but the point is that it's not lying, which is the point that @Asherah was making.

There is a 0% chance that could be kept a secret. That's the problem with all of these conspiracies that would require a large amount of people. People can not keep secrets.

Isn't it because they don't understand how he was ahead by so many votes at the end of election night?

It's possible yet in most cases:

Trump attacked Fauci's advice and boasted of ignoring government experts in his coronavirus response

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...perts-in-his-coronavirus-response/ar-BB16wxoi

So he may have taken Fauci's advice for a brief period of time then did the opposite. There was no legitimate attempt by Trump to mitigate the virus. It's more than obvious he deliberately did everything in his power to try to get as many people infected as possible, likely because he took the advice of quacks who preached natural herd immunity.

We want them infected’: Trump appointee demanded ‘herd immunity’ strategy, emails reveal

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/...77FynaRviJ8JUYBMpGDyj_uVoKKasz9hVlFoy2FmIhYJQ

Trump administration officials subpoenaed in probe into alleged 'extensive and dangerous' political interference at CDC

    https://news.yahoo.com/trump-admini...013.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=fb&tsrc=fb

But that's far from the only instance where he ignored and/or contradicted the advice of experts, and not just health experts. How many times has this ignorant buffoon claimed he knows better than anyone on just about any subject? This is after all the same guy who suggested injecting disinfectant to kill the the virus.

What are you saying Trump should have done to mitigate?

Followed all the above and more, especially #2, isn't that OBVIOUS? You asked if Trump did none of the above. The answer is still NO, he definitely did NOT. He followed the idiotic and ignorant whims that he believed benefited him personally and his agenda, over ALL the above. After all, this is still the ignorant scammer who suggested injecting disinfectant and admitted he downplayed the dangers of the virus knowing full well how dangerous it is. Trump's agenda is and always was Trump.

The GOP repeatedl wasted the taxpayers money trying to repeal the ACA in Congress...knowing full well they didn't have the votes. It's a way to keep their willfully ignorant base alive and kicking.

Are you saying that Trump had control over what happened in New York for example?

And you believe Trump when he says that he knew how dangerous it was back in February? Yeah, epidemiological expert Trump was the only human being on planet earth who knew what we know now! :roflol:

And what negative outcome did this result in which has resulted in the current loss of life?

Yes, but that's just Trump! He claims to know more about everyone on EVERYTHING! :roflol:

True, but I'm saying that 20 people showing up to an event or a rally wouldn't be very promising in a Presidential election,
especially not if the alternative candidate was drawing the sort of crowds that Trump was drawing.
