I have no problem with him being arrested for it. What he did was wrong.

But I DO find it rather hypocritical when we had Mayors and DA's refusing to charge people with rioting when it came to something that they supported.

As for the high mags thing...hope he fights it all the way to SCOTUS and SCOTUS then throws that BS of a law out.

I believe he is alleged to have committed three criminal offenses: 1. theft of private property - a low level misdemeanor, and one not even prosecuted in many jurisdictions these days; 2. illegal burning within city limits - likely a misdemeanor punishable by a fine; 3. possession of a high-capacity magazine - likely his most serious charge, not a felony, but if Muriel Bowser had her way an offense for which he’d be publicly executed.

I was asking you to clarify your position as it seemed to imply that "parading around with assault weapons" was not a peaceful act. The opposite of a peaceful act would be an act of violence. So, due to the imprecision of your language, you seemed to imply that carrying a gun in public was an act of violence and I was simply asking you to clarify your position. So, I will indulge your pedantics and restate my question, ignoring your racist overtones by removing the word "white" and will correct your hyperbole w/r/t "assault weapons" since that is a term made up by politicians to scare soccer moms in the suburbs: "Please explain how a group of folks lawfully parading around with firearms is not considered peaceful if they are behaving in a peaceful manner."
