Amazon has now banned Parler and may start removing accounts of members with Parler. This comes after Google and Apple also ban Parler.

Other sites like Reddit, Facebook and Twitter continue purging conservative groups and conservatives leaving them to find alternative sites to visit like Rumble, MeWe, Gab and Parler.

Without Amazon the largest conservative social media website is in trouble. Parler uses Amazon for its hosting but after Sunday it will go dark. Parler will need to find a new hosting service fast.

The Democrats and left are waging a war to remove Parler. Parler is a friendly website that does not incite violence and offers free speech.

I am boycotting Amazon now. Screw them. I'm tired of this left wing purging crap.

Parler's being removed because they aren't doing anything to prevent members from planning criminal activity on their site. That makes them liable, and their hosting company could be liable by extension. They aren't silencing "concervative" voices, unless planning crimes is a conservative value now.

They may start removing accounts of people with Parler? What does that mean?

I'm not sure. I heard that from my wife but I have not confirmed it nor do I know how they would do it.

There is numerous news articles online stating Amazon has banned Parler. After tommorow Parler will go offline unless a new web hosting service is found.

We all know that's just the excuse.

They don't want to let an alternative platform be out there which does not moderate away opposing viewpoints they do not like.

It's called freedom of speech and nobody is inciting violence. It is a very friendly website.

Twitter is far worse and they have moderators.

Exactly. That's just a excuse to purge the biggest conservative social media site online and it's working. After tommorow Parler is done unless it finds a new web host.

Parler was used at least in part to plan the Capitol Hill attack.

Amazon will ban Parler at 2:59 AM on Monday.

Matze, owner of Parler is saying the social media website may be down for a week but will return.

Prove it. That is a big claim. I have seen nothing that calls for inciting violence and I have been on Parler for awhile.

Do you have anything to back up your claim?

No, that's reality. There are plenty of alternative viewpoints on existing platforms that aren't "moderated away." When was the last time Rush was banned or had something he wrote or said removed from a platform? He knows where the criminal line is and doesn't cross it. Right wing extremists can't help themselves, though. So a platform that fails to stop their planning now gets to find out that there are consequences for abetting terrorists.

I don't think it would pass their TOS to ban you for simply downloading an app they've offered you. If they find you saying naughty things yeah, but surely not for downloading an app they've put up.

Right wing extremists are not on Parler that I know of. Do you have evidence to back up your claim?

Yeah and I can't find anything about that online.

It's sad the left has to try and control everything. Parler is a safe friendly website and they are just attacking it because it is full of conservatives.

I imagine our definitions of "right wing extremists" differ. You're clearly a sympathizer, though, having spent weeks spouting their same rhetoric. Go make an account and see your brethren on there yourself. Sounds like you have until 2:59 am Monday.

No, members were violating Parler's own TOS, and Parler wasn't doing anything about it.

You can't tell people to commit violence, and that is precisely what a lot of extreme right wingers are into, committing violent acts under the bizarro idea that this is what the framers of the constitution had in mind.

You want evidence? It's called January 6th, when the extreme right wing layed siege on the Capitol building, and 5 people were murdered ( under felony murder common law, yes, they were murdered by none other than Donald Trump ).

    Nope.

Nor can you do that on PF.

    Try it.

Hate and crime has always been a value of the GOP. It's just that they have been more open about it the last 4 years because of a president who endorses hate. They are butt-hurt now their hate, violence and terrorism won't be tolerated anymore.

I don't use it, but I've gone on there to see what it's like. Pretty standard social media site, much less radical a user base than Gab, and literally nothing like 8chan where people would literally plan attacks without a ban.

    What a bunch of BS!

The web hosting bill is $300,000 per month.

There are dozens of vendors who will take that account in a moments notice!

The Boo-Hoo crying by that owner of Parler is doing the usual rip-off of all these Right Wing Republican like Trump.

For a week, he is going to go for massive donations, price hikes, and punitive measures to make his money go wild, and then host in Trump and/or other Right Wing with extra fees.

The Trumpers and Republican rabid suckers will pay well, and provide a whole level of "Leaders' fees" to get special access.

There's Gold in them there Republican Hills!

Amazon is doing this because their employees got their panties in a wad and "demanded" it to deplatform conservatives as Parler was their newest clubhouse. The whole not policing their site think is manufactured BS.

Maybe, they should actually allow people to look at the forum before signing up? Then, one could actually make a judgement as to if there is hate speech on there, or incitement to overthrow the government. There is, however, no way that I create an account, to be then inundated by spam after the owners sells my info to all kinds of advertisers.

In any case, if parler broke the agreement with Amazon as to what is posted on their site, it is in their perfect right to kick them off. Serves like a warning to us here. Keep it civil and don't incite violence or engage in hate speech, and our forum is probably safe.

“In a letter obtained by CNN Business that was sent to Parler Chief Policy Officer Amy Peikoff on Saturday, Amazon Web Services said that in recent weeks it has reported 98 examples to Parler of "posts that clearly encourage and incite violence." The letter includes screenshots of several examples.

"We've seen a steady increase in this violent content on your website, all of which violates our terms," AWS wrote. "It's clear that Parler does not have an effective process to comply with the AWS terms of
