What you say is correct for the most part. But we can fix government overnight with single term limit for all elected offices. The problem is that it would take a revolution to enable that fix.

However, our economy is not oligarchic like the Russian economy. We have a lot of government corruption like any other country so companies are able to bribe politicians with political donations. That is the fault of the politicians. Most of it would go away with a single term limit.

 

In fact, both in Russia and in the United States, power belongs to the oligarchs. To understand what is happening requires a class approach. I'm not sure I'm following you - there's so much in that post. I'll just go straight to the OP title. Are you upset that people from the right taunted Graham? He has been the poster child for turn about and supporting what is best for him, rather than the country or the people who elected him. People on the right have been disgusted by him for years - but we didn't taunt him as his own party followers have. Interesting times we live in.
