So how much money do you think 13 year old girls have that isn't dependent on their parents? Also, pop stars are notorious for having fake followers, it's SOP in the PR business these days. You are making my point by referencing millions of KID followers in the above. Twitter is a house of cards waiting to collapse, Trump followers were the main money, that's gone now. Maybe Ellen boomer followers have some money, that's about it.

Watch all those celebs set up TrumpTwitter accounts to get to the parents' mone... erm "their fans." Twitter is DOA, may take awhile, but DOA. Trump was the best thing that ever happened to Jack. 50/50 he will ask Trump back after 1/20 and cut a deal to avoid utter destruction. Wonder how many billions "private sector" Trump will charge Jack for the most valuable brand in world history? How many billions? F he might end up owning Twitter itself before the dust settles. The clubby world of big social media is about to get a cranial spanking lesson in who has money in the U.S. and who doesn't. Watch.

No, I would sure like to see them though. You'll note that at no point did I claim he did have more engagements.

I agree, great news - in order to save democracy Twitter is ready for a company stock price drop.
It reminds me another event. Trump celebrated Made In America week, while his corporation makes products in Mexico, China and Bangladesh.
What a difference between Twitter and Trump Corporation!

most of the elite, billionaires, tech giants, wall street, hollywood are with the democrats.. go figure, the party of the middle class and the poor. Hohohohoho

twitter’s actions are puzzling. They claim trump was inciting violence but they allow loius farrakhan and iran supreme leader to keep their accounts? Boy...

    the honorable loius farrakhan tweet:

‘In 2018, Farrakhan continued his anti-Semitic commentary in public appearances and on Twitter, where he warned his 335,000 followers about “the Satanic Jew.” ‘

And he once compared jews to termites and twitter claimed not enough to suspend account

Iran leader has called for destruction of jews

Even merkel and france and china are condemning the ban, which is nuts

I can see these decisions by Google, Twitter, and Amazon mostly likely backfiring severely. Just sit back and watch.

Hey, I thought conservatives were against "cancel culture"? Or do they only object when one of their own is "cancelled"?

This has nothing to do with cancel culture, not sure how you equated these happenings to that. Twitter made a bad decision and now they are paying the consequences for that decision.

I don't do twitter either. I have FB account but don't use it much or than to voyeur. Anyone using any social media for their news is certifiable.

Isn't twitter losing subscribers because but%-hurt Trump fans are "cancelling" them?

You're funny. The only thing twitter sells is information, they just lost up to fifty percent of their product and you think now's a good time to buy? Glad you're not managing my portfolio...the only people buying twitter stock yesterday was twitter.

Is that what you're calling it? If so, have at it if that makes you happy. This is the direct result of consequences Twitter will endure for their decisions. Nothing more, nothing less.

Twitter is being over run by other platforms, insta (google) tis tok (chinese) lots of competition there for documenting and profiling the youngest generation. Twitter had become entirely too populated with folks over 25. Twitter never had an answer to why their platform devolved into myspace..... But hey, it did, and folks are moving out, and moving on. They are at their terminal shelf life. And like Facebook, their legions of giddy share crazed participants are about to leave them. Ta.

The fact that Twitter stock is taking a hit brought to mind the classic 1976 movie “Network.” In case you’re not familiar with the plot IMDb summed it up nicely.

“A television network cynically exploits a deranged former anchor's ravings and revelations about the news media for its own profit.”

Trump isn't the only one they dropped and a hell of a lot of other people were likely only their because of Trump including a lot of media types...

Seems fair to me; I've been sick of these manipulative ****** antics and interference for a long time.

Presently they are exempted from certain responsibilities by being classified (an act of congress0 as NOT being publishers- just platforms. However, when you censor and regulate what appears on your platform- YOU ARE ACTING AS A PUBLISHER. The legal requirements and controls are much different, and far more accountability set in.

IF congress doesn't turn into the bowl of mush the tech people want it too, they will revise that legislation, and all social media will no longer have an exclusion.

Note, I have no problems with Trump fans voting with their feet and abandoning twitter.

But, your side has to also stop whining when somebody is telling friends not to frequent a restaurant that is flying the Trump flag. Because when that happened, Trump opponents were accused of advocating for destroying people's livelihoods because of their politics. You can't have it both ways, either you oppose cancel culture, or you do not.

You are talking in circles. Twitter cancels Trump and stocks plummet and you’re claiming it’s Trump supporters who are at fault. I’ve never used Twitter and have no plans to.
