IMO, there is sufficient probable cause to launch an investigation. I wouldn't, however, deprive him of a trial.

Is it possible that Donald Trump may have ruined the Republican Party? The Republican has been with us since March 20, 1854 and that's a long time. They call themselves the Grand Old Party (GOP) and the Democrats were here first since January 8, 1828. I believe the Republican Party will recover from all this like Watergate in 1972. They were going to impeach President Richard Nixon but resigned in 1974 and his successor Gerald Ford lost in 1976 to Jimmy Carter. That's you history lesson for the day.

 

I forgot to mention that Buttigieg was gay and has a husband for a spouse. He'd be a first gentleman like mentioned before. Who would qualify as a hostess for the White House?

 

I will point out that when Nixon lost his race to Kennedy, there WAS ACTUAL EVIDENCE of significant Dem voter fraud in Chicago, courtesy of daddy Joe Kennedy, which could CREDIBLY have CHANGED THE RESULT of that election, but Nixon thought it better to not call our system into question, in the popular mind of Americans (if I had been him, in that case, I would have challenged the result).

You can call my seeing the stark difference between the way that Trump & his supporters are handling his defeat & the way it has been handled by all the others you list-- Nixon, Gore, Hillary Clinton, (Bill C. never lost, so I guess it was just wishful thinking that led you to include him on your list)-- snobbery, but I call it, accepting the obvious.

The Capitol Hill putsch that took place on Jan. 6 was shocking to just about everyone. But we should now prepare ourselves for something worse. This was not a singular event. We might be entering an era in which the threat of right-wing terrorism and regular outbreaks of violence are a regular feature of our politics.

It need not happen. Trump might have instigated it all along just to stay President. Trump planned to be a dictator and dictator for life and that isn't right I think our Democracy can be saved and it will be saved.

 

Well Nixon in 1960 handled it better that Trump. It would make Nixon mature, and responsible while Trump was like a spoiled child that throws a tantrum because he didn't get his way.

Bill Clinton had major sex problems while President and in the oval office. It was ok with Democrats because it was just Bubba. He was impeached also by the House but he had no intention of leaving. I hear this from some "it is better for the country and not stir up the pot" Do you believe that it's o.k. to avoid the" rule of law" .Oral sex skyrocketed among teens because Bill Clinton could do it.
In a sense I think of Gandhi when he reminds us of a quote from Leviticus "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Look at some of your major cities where everyone is blind to crime and murder. Has it made it any better? I'm not saying Joe was complicit in any voter fraud but some were but no effort is being made to find out the truth. I have my arm all up in a sling but somewhere in the Federalist papers they talked about the right and duty of the people to get rid of fraudulent governments. Four years ago the Democrats tried to do just that because that is what they were led to believe. This election the Republicans believe the same thing. Without any real investigation I fear we may have more discourse. Enjoy your night.
