Well I assume that you mean that there's folk who think the election was somehow stolen FROM Trump. And yes you're correct. However, this doesn't mean that they don't believe that Trump lost. They believe that it was stolen, so by definition that means he lost, just illegally in their warped eyes. So "Trump didn't win the election" was stating the obvious. Also by "stating the obvious" I was referring to you saying, "BLM protesters didn't storm the Capitol, that was totally MAGA." Not sure why you had to mention that obvious bit of basic fact.

He won't be guilty of any crimes until he's charged with them (and that's no given). What I'm talking about is being held accountable for his behavior that's led to attacks on the democratic process and the peaceful transition of power. Whether that's censure, impeachment or criminal and civil action once he's no longer President, it needs to be something otherwise future wannabe authoritarian strongmen will look back at history and see there's no real consequences...

Okay, so possibly censure, which some of the conservative commentators I listen to are talking about. Censure because he has been going around like an ABSOLUTE embarrassing buffoon stating his opinion as fact - that is that the election was stolen from him and that he actually won, even proclaiming "we've already won" during his ridiculously insane and embarrassing election night speech. However, censure is a purely symbolic act, and would certainly do nothing to worry any "future wannabe authoritarian strongmen." By the way, Obama was much more of a "wannabe authoritarian." He said that he will lead with a "pen and a phone." And he used that pen to sign an Executive Order to prevent immigration law from being enforced. Trump didn't do anything like that!
