''Steven D'Antuono of the Washington Field Office said the bureau had "no indication" the deadly riot at the Capitol could turn violent. After working "diligently with our partners," he said, the agency determined there was nothing planned "other than First Amendment-protected activity."

this rotten onion will have many more layers peel off before we have a fuller proof of how deep the insidious corruption is in out Gmt. across the board, especially in recent years and with Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie as field Generals planted in the Pentagon by traitor trump top soldiers that is where the overdue arrests need to be focused before they create further insurmountable havoc.

Ripped out panic buttons in the Capitol, fences removed, doors opened, aid denied a minimum of four times, tours of the premises given prior — this is looking less like sedition and more like treason. Hopefully everyone involved is given the full punishment of the law.

I doubt our current laws sufficiently cover the multi-crisis we face now

    Inductive reasoning
You realize there is video of people opening doors and gates for these people, taking selfies, the DOJ has confirmed that the National Guard was blocked, panic buttons were removed (although we don’t know when/why) and there are numerous videos of Republican legislators during the terrorist attack. Do you understand what a conspiracy theory is?

The FBI and the police knew damn well that Antifa was going to infiltrate the peaceful protesters and cause problems. They were warned. The head of the BLM John Sullivan was let free by the Washington police even though there are videos of him calling for violence and revolution, while the people supporting Trump are all being charged.

There are videos showing the peaceful Trump followers trying to stop Antifa from breaking windows, etc., etc. Is this why Pelosi is so crazy and paranoid.

Don't worry, everything is not the Russiagate conspiracy theory. You're not going to have 4 years of lies.

There are videos of police removing barricades and of a BLM and Antifa member speaking to the police before hand. But that's okay, the police let him free since he said he was only there to observe. The videos of him calling for a revolution are inconsequential.

There is also a video of a policeman leading some people up the Capital stairs, as well as one where Trump followers are trying to stop Antifa from breaking the windows.

Anyway, they better start questioning the Washington police, because it seems they were colluding with Antifa and that it was an inside job.

You'll be able to confirm that, of course, when the trials start of those arrested in the Capitol.

It's confirmed in the videos and in the eyes of the beholder, the same way the thievery was confirmed with the videos during the elections. A true government answers to the people - otherwise it's called tyranny.

Too bad the courts disagreed. And, the recounts and audits didn't confirm the videos. To which video are you referring?

The problem today is the partisanship, with one department against the other. I didn't realize it until I went onto a foreign news site that shut down for a week because of it. I guess they felt their position was precarious.

When the partisanship affects the courts as it has during this election, then it becomes dangerous. The worse was the Supreme Court. Justice Roberts knew that if they tried the case, the judges would vote with the Constitution against the State of Pennsylvania and its electors.

A telephone call to another judge showed that Roberts was prejudiced against Trump, and instead of excusing himself, he did the dishonorable thing and refused to take the case. -

The courts didn't disagree, because the cases never went to trial. The judges took the cowardly way out. Maybe they were threatened, I know the witnesses were.

The malice the Democrats have is unbelievable and it's not going to bode well for our country.

It takes four Justices to vote to hear a case. So, who voted, which way? It would have taken more than Roberts to vote against hearing it to pass. Three Justices were appointed by Trump (Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett). Assuming Roberts voted not to hear it, along with Breyer, Solomayor and Kagan, what other conservative Justice voted not to hear it? Was it Alito or Thomas?

yeah, cos off the charts non-stop righty partisan warfare hasn't been a toxic thing since Reagan purposely began seriously dividing the USA
Roberts isn't a toadie like Gorsuch, Kav, and their likes, too bad that displeases you... but good

Stone6 - Don't tell me you didn't see the video of what was going on in a polling station in Georgia after the people were told to leave because a water pipe broke - which was a lie.

Look, if there was nothing wrong with the ballots and the Dominion machines, then the Democrats should have allowed a government committee to examine them. This by the way was what the rally was about. The people wanted a ten day delay in the confirmation of the electors so a committee could examine the machines and the ballots.

The reason they didn't go to trial is because the Judges didn't think they was sufficient evidence. A few were appealed and also dropped. I believe two election-related cases did go to the Supreme Court, which decided to either not hear the case or ruled against the Trump attorneys.
Who were the witnesses who were threatened? Did they report the threats to the Court? Who threatened them?

no, they don't care about votes cos ''there's no way Biden won!'' is the only thing they'll ever buy, which you're very familiar with

Election laws are basically made by the States. It's probably one of, if not the most, important rights States have. At the end of the State election process, the Governor signs a certification of the vote and the electors representing that vote (with a few exceptions, it's a winner take all count). This certifications then go to a joint session of Congress, overseen by the President of the Senate (who is the Vice President). The Vice President oversees opening the boxes containing the Governors' certifications. If there are no challenges, the VP acknowledges such and the electoral count becomes the official count. If a challenge is to be heard, at least one member from each chamber (the Senate and the House) must agree to the challenge (that includes the challenger him/herself). Th VP acknowledges the challenge and the joint session splits into the Senate and the House and conducts a two hour debate. They then vote separately on the challenge and reconvene in the same chamber (the House, because that's the larger one). The VP reads the vote. The challenge must be voted FOR by both the Senate and the House, in order to move forward (such as clarifying the certification with the State Governor). If both chambers do not agree, it's dropped. That's what happened. None of the challenges (to the swing states) passed and all were dropped, along with the Cruz challenge for an audit. Besides that, it's unlikely the Cruz challenge would have been constitutional, because out would have amounted to changing election law and violated both the prohibition against changing the law AFTER the event (the election and state certification) and the separation of powers doctrine, in this instance between the State laws and the federal laws.
