Saying something is hate speech does not make it true, even though there is no such thing as hate speech. You see, threatening Trump or Republicans with death and violence on Twitter has to be put through the Leftist filter first to really understand what they mean. KILL means love. Assassinate means hug. When Trump says March, it means riot and when he says peaceful it means hurt people. It’s so simple and objective. We are seeing the downfall of free speech n this country live. Kiss the 1st A as we know it, goodbye. Certain criticism of Biden has already been banned. But it’s only going to get worse. All criticism of Democrats or BLM or any of their pet groups will be censored soon. Just wait.

230 just needs to be enforced at some point. If we kill it, say goodbye to the current internet-era where we can basically say anything and not expose the forum to legal trouble. Twitter just needs to let people speak freely and become a platform. If they want to regulate content, then they need to declare themselves publisher where they will be held accountable under 230 for crazy posts. They want both things - both to be free of responsibility when they give platform to someone livestreaming a murder and yet also in complete control of what they allow to be published so they can censor "hatespeech". And Congress either can't or won't do anything to force a decision here, at least not currently from what I've seen.
Still waiting for quotes where Trump openly supported violence or overthrow of the govt. All we hear is what Democrats THINK he meant. The left is hideously selective in what they get outraged over. Take a simple noose. Twitter only censors the right. The left can say and do whatever they want. The left can riot as much as they want, BLM has murdered and yet avoids being condemned, they hold up racist signs, and are still supported by dems. Any Tweet claiming their is systemic racism is calling for violence since people are rioting and killing over that lie. Pelosi, Biden and the rest need to be canceled as well. That is if we’re applying equal and fair interpretation of what constitutes “incitement”? Are we? According to recent evidence there is no sign at all that the censorship is being applied equally.
What I'm not seeing in this thread is any of the several left/far-left PF regulars I've been exchanging dozens of messages per day with on the subject of inciting violence. I have to say this isn't the first time I've noticed the trend of our left-leaning members outright ignoring threads that shatter their narratives. I don't usually see it the other way around except in COVID threads.
