Republican Senator Purdue was demanded to self quarantine because a staffer tested positive. At the same time Democrat Nancy Pelosi has Democrats in Congress show up to vote for her.

Claiming someone has to turn off their life and self quarantine because it claimed someone they were near tested positive is true tyranny and the easily manipulation of all.

"SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Republican Sen. David Perdue was forced into quarantine Thursday in the home stretch of Georgia’s high-stakes Senate runoffs, disclosing just five days before the election that he had been exposed to a campaign worker infected with the coronavirus.

Perdue’s campaign did not say how long he plans to stay in quarantine, but guidelines of the federal Centers for Disease Control say those exposed to the virus can resume normal activities after seven days if they have a negative test result. It’s bad timing for Perdue and fellow Republicans heading into critical runoffs that will determine control of the Senate. Following the CDC’s guidance would keep Perdue in isolation for the remainder of the campaign, including a planned Georgia rally Monday with President Donald Trump.

Because you were near someone who tested positive but no symptoms - it unknown if the person is in the contagious stage and it claimed hundreds of thousands of people are positive tested (unreliable test) having been around tens of millions of people - for a disease with even if you believe the numbers has a death rate of less than 0.01% of being lethal - and the vast majority being elderly - requiring ending a US Senate candidate continuing to campaign is absurd and another example of the radical degree covid-19 is being used to completely eliminate true Democracy in the USA.

are you seriously spending time wondering why there is hypocrisy within politics?

Do you think either Democrats or Republicans give a rats behind about the constituency?

I do. I think the main problem is a lot of people, including a lot of politicians, simply believe large institutions like the WHO without giving it much thought. They are simply too trusting. Some don't, however. I could never stand Trump or many of his followers, but I have to give them one point, and that's questioning the mainstream narrative regarding Covid 19.

Healthy skepticism is 1 thing. Trump and his ilk straight up ignored the facts. you can't twist his Covid response into anything even vaguely positive.

I don't see it that way. Initially, Trump made it clear that he didn't like vaccines, but seems to have sold out later on. However, one good thing he did do early on was choose RFK Jr. as his Vaccine Tzar. The mainstream media didn't like it ofcourse, but those like myself who admire RFK's work were elated. RFK Jr. actually has a website that has a lot of evidence that vaccines cause a lot of harms. It can be seen here:

Unbelievable and pathetic that the Republicans' "Vaccine Tzar" is an anti-vaxers!

Of course, his primary is not science, but one of his (admirable?) primary "choices" is the Gateway Pundit!?

Good God, the White House and even the anti-vaxers have fallen so far.
