The only thing that the Trump outperformed anyone is in the number and stench of his lies.

No problem whatsoever. I'm just talking about what the OP is saying, trying to imply that the impeachment doesn't match US law regarding sedition. It doesn't have to. That's my point.
As for the substance, I 100% believe that impeaching Donald Trump (for the 2nd time) was the right thing to do, and I firmly believe that he did commit impeachment-grade offenses.

Exactly! Trumps lies are like a cancer that started growing in November 2016 or before.

No, just holding the goal post in place. What did Trump say that you would consider incitement?

It’s the cumulation of his refusing to concede, attacking states who won’t find votes for him, urging his supporters to intimidate election officials, holding a rally when the fbi had to have told him it would likely get violent...
I mean it’s not like he didn’t have twitter until recently, he had to know the sort of anger his lies were formenting.

Former Prosecutor Reviews ‘Incitement’ Allegations Against Trump, Says Dems Have Big Problems.

Deranged Nancy Bit The Big One

Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a former assistant attorney general for the District of Columbia from 2007-2009: Trump’s speech doesn’t come close to rising to the level of “incitement” and is protected speech under the Constitution.
At the Capitol a small minority who entered the perimeter and broke the law. They should be prosecuted.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley has made similar arguments.

Another elephant in the room that the Democrats and the Fake News media are reluctant to mention is the timeline issue. According to CBS News investigative reporter Catherine Herridge, the first pipe bomb was found at the RNC around 12:45 as Trump was still giving his speech.

Random rallygoers were just standing around listening to Trump’s speech and then got “incited” enough to leave and then make and plant pipe bombs.

The “Trump incitement” nonsense argument is falling apart by the minute. Facts don’t care about your feelings.

Here we have someone who wants that someone answers this way by listing all the lies of Trump since 2016???

O dear ... this will be the longest post ever in this forum and maybe not be possible to do in one post due to max. number of letters per post.!

Do you really want this? Be aware ... your list will only be fly poop in comparison to the list of lies by Trump!

To give one example ... remembering Trump's speech in Rose Garden in July last year?
A bunch proven lies in 1 speech alone!

    Seven examples of lies!

    Lie #01
    The "lowest death rate" lie
"Millions of lives" have been saved through his corona policy, said Trump. "It could be two to three million people" who would otherwise have died more. Trump did not provide any evidence, nor is there any research that supports this pure claim. The US president claimed also that the US had "almost the lowest death rate."
On the basis of the available figures, the Johns Hopkins University has compiled a list that is generally recognized worldwide and recognized as a reliable source even by the US government of Trump. According to this, the United States (as of July 2020) is one of the countries with the most corona deaths with 41.71 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
The USA is by far the country with the most corona infections by pure number. Trump justified the high number, as he had for weeks, with the many tests. "If we only had half as many tests, we would only have half as many cases," says Trump. In fact, infections do not go away once they are no longer detected. Rather, tests help track the spread of the virus and thus reduce the number of cases in a more targeted manner. It is true, however, that with fewer tests, fewer cases would appear in the statistics ... but that only makes the statistics implausible! And this hint from Trump certainly has to do with the fact that he, like almost everyone else, justifiably doubts the official figures in China. Just no matter how credible the numbers from China are, this is about the USA and the realities in the USA!

    Lie #02
The lie of Joe Biden's unemployed son
Trump claimed Biden's son Hunter did not have a job before he was appointed to the board of directors of Ukrainian gas producer Burisma in 2014. However, Hunter previously worked as a lawyer at Boies Schiller Felxne and as a professor at Georgetown University, CEO of an investment firm he co-founded, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United States' World Food Program.
Conclusion: a total lie from Donald Trump!

    Lie #03
Zero emissions only in houses without windows
Trump criticized several proposals made by a working group led by Joe Biden and ex-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. According to this, all new buildings should achieve "zero" CO2 emissions by 2030. Trump claimed this "basically means no windows". This is not in the least true, because even buildings with a whole series of windows can demonstrably have zero emissions - which means that they produce as much renewable energy as the energy they consume. There are enough such houses for that as evidence existing!

    Lie #04
Biden wants to abolish the detention of (illegal) immigrants
Trump claimed the working group had also proposed "abolishing the detention of immigrants". In reality, however, the proposal was to keep fewer immigrants in detention, but not to abolish detention. The program says literally: "We believe that incarceration should be a last resort, not the standard."

    Lie #05
Trump's wrong polls because of COVID-19 handling
In light of its own falling polls, Trump claimed that Biden and ex-President Barack Obama received bad "grades" for their handling of the 2009 swine flu pandemic. On the one hand, the popularity of Vice President Biden at the time was not queried by anyone.
On the other hand, Obama's approval ratings for dealing with the pandemic were significantly higher than the Trump ratings in the corona crisis. Obama achieved due to media source 48 to 57 percent approval in polls in autumn 2009, Trump currently has an average approval rating of 39 to 45 percent only!

    Lie #06
    Postal voting fraud
Once again, Trump has claimed that there is "enormous fraud" in postal voting ... but again, he cannot substantiate this mere claim with any facts. On the contrary, even if there is a little more fraud in broad elections all over the world than in personal voting, the mechanisms in place in the USA are more than sufficient to keep this drastically low. In general, election fraud is often an issue with Trump and the Republicans ... but, strangely, only when the result is tight or for the Democrats.

    Lie #07
    Favorite topic building the wall
Of course, Trump's remarks could not be without his favorite topic from the 2016 election campaign: He proudly declared that the wall on the border with Mexico was "almost finished". Even if "almost" is a rather vague term, this formulation is more than an exaggeration. Even according to Trump's own statements, only about half of the wall is finished. He tweeted on Sunday that 240 miles had been built. By the end of the year the wall will be 450 miles long. However, a large part of this border fortification existed long before the start of the construction of the wall! His government announced in June that 216 miles had been built since January 2017. Of this, however, new barriers were only erected over three miles!!! And old fortifications were replaced over 184 miles which were still due to be modernized / replaced, and "additional barriers" were erected on the rest of the route.

And aside this ... "Mexico will pay for the wall" he told all the time, remembering??? Ehm ... how much did Mexico pay until now? Not a single Cent ... but the US taxpayer all!

No surprises there. Still nowhere close to incitement. There is no shortage of anger and division on both sides and I believe both sides exploit it. That way they can spend our money while we fight among each other!

We have had 4 years of extreme from both sides. I see it as a distraction and efforts to gain/maintain power. Nothing more. You and I live in a state where the results won't change our lives anyway.
