No, he shot three men for attacking him. They weren't trying to "disarm" him, they were trying to kill Kyle. One swung a skateboard at his head and the other drew a gun on him and closed in to shoot him. The one-armed guy even told his friend in the hospital afterwards that he wanted to empty the whole magazine into Kyle.

I don't think anyone is saying it's impossible for symbols to evolve, just that the "OK" sign hasn't yet for most reasonable people, as evidenced by the many dems who have been photographed doing it.

So? He still shot two people dead after attacking them while armed. They got the better of him and then he had to kill them.
That doesn't make it self-defense. He assaulted them and was still engaged in the resultant conflict when he killed them. It's like you rob somebody and they pull a gun and you have to shoot them. You don't get off. It's felony murder
