Why only the two extremes? Are you trying to further the divide?

I hate to say this, but they're not stupid. They make good money to be able to travel so far, and be as heavily armed as they were. I mean, how much is an AR-15? Even used they're a lot of money.

It was a pretty extreme action.

Most people will pretty much fall into one of the two categories. I cant account for every other reason under the sun in a poll.

    I disagree.

And while I agree that those rioters who broke the law and destroyed property, ( And there have been over 10,000 arrests ) should be in jail.

But the goal of this mob was different. They went in with the goal of disrupting government function by stopping the vote count. Some had the goal of executing or taking hostage, members of government.

I feel badly for those who lost business and property, I truly do. And I hope those who broke the law are held responsible. But you cant really compare the burning of a 7-11 and a police station ( and yes I know it was more wide spread than that ). to storming the capital and trying to execute members of the government.

Lets face it, if these had been black people protesting for BLM, or Muslims protesting the no fly ban, there would be a helluva lot of dead black people of Muslims. But in this case, you had police and military help even. Possibly even members of congress groups through recon missions. And why is that? Because it was mostly older pissed off white people.

Material success isn't evidence of intelligence. Trump is a perfect example of that.

B.) Seditious traitors who should be tossed in jail as long as the law allows.

Did you hear the new defense from the Shaman's lawyer (the guy with the horns), he compares Trump to Jim Jones and says his client was deep into the cult and under the Presidents influence, so Trump should give him a Pardon as it's Trump's fault

QAnon Shaman's lawyer says he believed the President of the United States invited him to the Capital, so it was ok for him to be there

Which option for: 'the hundreds of thousands that went to protest election fraud are patriots and the few hundred that instead became criminals are criminals'?

They are misguided victims of the evil anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-Trump agent provocateurs.
    Both far-right and far-left ones.

Yes, it is terrible when disingenuous and outrageous language incites others into poorly thought out over reactions.

People who stormed the capital or supported or worked for Trump, maybe stained for life.

Forbes magazine’s chief content officer delivered a stark warning to companies that might consider hiring Kayleigh McEnany, Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other former spokespeople in the Trump White House: Do so and risk losing all credibility given their history of perpetuating “lies-upon-lies, repeated frequently and fervently” on behalf of the president. “

“Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie,” Forbes Chief Content Officer Randall Lane wrote in a piece published Thursday. “We’re going to scrutinize, double-check, investigate with the same skepticism we’d approach a Trump tweet. Want to ensure the world’s biggest business media brand approaches you as a potential funnel of disinformation? Then hire away.”

Then you miss the point of trump. Trump can bs anything do he knows he doesn’t have to be knowledgeable. He just has to look pretty for the mirror. But terrorists are very rarely idiots. Insurgency takes time and planning. There is some evidence that they planned this out ahead of time. That’s pretty smart.

My guess is they probably do. Or at least they’re probably old enough to be in college. Oh gosh this is going to radicalize so many more people than originally intended.

A continuing basis in may of your posts, is the slathering of paint that everyone who doesn't agree wit the liberal line supports Trump, and the involvement of white supremacists as a presumption they were even included in the discussion. They weren't.

Yes, killing anyone is a crime. What crime was committed in entering the Capital?

Neither. A number of people cannot state what crimes, other than killing a person, have been committed. I've gotten one or two intelligent answers. The rest, not so much.

Yes and to answer a sincere question is courteous and appropriate. Responding to an unworthy troll is a different story.

    Re:
Please try to explain how months of stealing $200- sneakers, beating people to death and burning dumpsters has anything to do with protesting the murder of Black men.

The simple fact remains that no one murders more Black men than other Black men.

    Your selective outrage is showing.

(*Sigh!*) No, Max, if you will re-read my Post #15 you will see, clearly, that I wrote this, :below:, repeated now with emphasis in RED:

" ALL of them, the 'MAGA' people, the ANTIFA/BLM people -- all of them should be arrested, locked-up, charged with crimes appropriately, and punished."

Why would you think, or write in reply, "you want yours to get away with anything all the time...."? What goes on in your mind...? :woozy:

It has nothing to do with protesting the murder of black men. Its criminal behavior. I believe a whole bunch of the people involved in your anecdotal incident list were arrested. go figger.

As for the standard whataboutery defense attempting to equate racial civil unrest (race riots) that have become a regular feature of American society in the past 60 years and an insurrection initiated by the Commander in Chief to attack the capitol and stop the peaceful transfer of power.

Its okay I understand for trumpists that is just a nuanced difference too far to process. Accordingly they run around whining about how whatever their side did it was because the other side did it first, all the while screaming hypocrisy.

And yes, I am outraged at apologists for white supremacist fascist lowlifes desecrating the center of American Democracy. Yes I'm outraged that these scum beat cops with american flags. I am outraged that these scum paraded the confederate battle flag in congress for the first time in history.

And these scum claim they are trying to save Trump's presidency and preserve american democracy by throwing out the results of a fair and square election based on teh PRESIDENTS BIG LIE.

Imagine going to jail because you never thought your Dear Leader would lie to you about something so important. I find it ironic that after trump's more than 25,000 lies and distortions its the last BIG ONE that sealed his legacy in utter disgrace.

Again, it is poetic justice that it will be Trump supporters who leave the biggest stain on the Trump Presidency - not the media,
not the Democrats - Trump supporters. This is Trump's legacy.
