I agree with most of this except one point. He was in possession of a rifle, illegally. He is 17, and must be 18 in order to possess a rifle, with very few exceptions. Such as hunting, military member or under direct supervision of an adult.

 

There is nothing wrong with judge/jury evaluating Kyle’s actions.
I do think it’s absurd and ridiculous for prosecution to use pictures of Kyle in a bar showing the OK sign as basis to change his bail conditions.

Hero and Patriot Kyle WAS under direct supervision of several adults until the actions of the criminal thugs caused him to be separated from his group.

Not that he needed adult supervision as that is not required.

I'll already did, AFAIK. The applicable law seems the operant factor here and that appears clear to me. You cannot kill people and claim self-defense after you started the altercation by attacking them, even if they do put up a good fight and appear to be threatening you for a while.

My mistake, I left out, walking in armed with a rifle. Rittenhouse is an idiot for what he did. If someone from outside walked around my neighborhood with a rifle, I most certainly would do what it takes to take them down.

Which is fine, but he's claiming arrests for raping young boys based on made up crap. For all we know he was convicted of having sex with a junior while he was a senior in high school. And you’d get shot or arrested. Someone walking with a rifle is not a reason to attack that person. If there are concerns - call the cops and let them deal with it. Trying to hit, or attack a person carrying a rifle on the street who is not aiming at you is as much of an idiocy as walking into a riot with a rifle.
If you really want to ask that armed person why they are there, in this situation you would want to get your own gun and approach the person who carries the rifle in such a way that they saw you and they saw that you are armed too, but your gun should not be pointed at that person at any point of time.

 

I most certainly would do what it takes to take them down.
