The Capitol Police are under the Capitol Police Board and about 2 levels down from direct connection with any part of either Congressional Chamber. Nancy Pelosi would likely not be informed at all of anything the FBI knew.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how suddenly the liberals and the media now want rioters charged with a crime? And now the liberals and the media are all for police and guns and bringing in the Guard. Anyone notice the media is not giving us the story every night of the lady being shot while climbing through a window at the capitol. Only liberals and the media can do a 180 so quickly and tell you how smart they are. They want the Capitol rioters locked up while releasing prisoners who are serving time for all sorts of crime. As to the % of them in the mob that invaded the Capitol, you can quibble about whether it was small or large, but there is not escaping the evidence of their prominance.

But I totally understand how you have to focus on something as minor as how many lowlifes were in the crowd. Considering the entire mob that entered the capitol either by window or open door was engaged in federal criminal offenses, I should think you'd be more focussed on the CRIME and the bullshit that motivated it.

And you do lose points for using the term "fascist." Even though they don't seem to have anything to do with the Capitol Hill Riot, there actually are such things as White Nationalists/Supremacists and Qanon crazies. But what their seems to be a lack of are 21st Century fascists. What country is currently fascist? Anyone using that term except in a historical context, strikes me as uneducated.

 

I am totally not surprised that my understanding of fascism might seem uneducated to the uneducated and those who choose to ignore all the warning signs. Over the decades, I have become intimately familar with nazis and the rise of America First Fascism in America in the 30's and the american network of holocaust deniers, white supremacists, neo nazis and the rest of the scumbags that peddle jew hating holocaust denial and black/brown inferiority.

Now we can quibble about how fascist the far right is as measured by the 14 characteristics of fascism, but something tells me you are unaware of this rather widely accepted concensus of historians and political scientists.
