Thank you Mr. President, for your efforts with “Warp Speed.”

Warp Speed, like everything else Dirty Donald created, is a complete disaster now scrapped.

Yes, thanks to operation warp speed and private sector, over 11million americans have been vaccinated years before the trump haters said it was possible. Now that our great president has helped us get this kicked off years early, the haters continue to hate and pick apart every hurdle (which was expected) in an already remarkable achievement.

 

Most tRUMP voters won't get the vaccine. It isn't tested enough. Then there's that chip implanted with each vaccine.

I work for a first responder agency, and I got my first shot a week ago. It was uplifting to see hundreds of medical workers and first responders being vaccinated by a huge, well-coordinated operation. I felt like I was actually seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

 

YOUR biggest *LOSER*-in-Chief is the criminal ARSONIST who enabled the Pandemic that is raging out of control like a forest fire throughout our nation.

Biden bears NO responsibility for the CURRENT situation and the SUBSEQUENT deaths already in progress.

His primary job is to FIX the FAILURE of YOUR biggest *LOSER*-in-Chief getting the VACCINES to We the People.

Given that Biden has to start from scratch that is going to take at least a YEAR to accomplish.

 

Did you get the vaccine that was developed in Germany and had nothing to do with operation warp speed? Did you get the one that the Trump admin said they had a large reserve of, but it turns out they had less than 50% of what was claimed? I'll be glad when I can get the vaccine in June, or whenever code monkeys are allowed to get it. But Trump definitely doesn't deserve any credit unless we're going to also give him the blame for failing to get even 10% of what they said they'd get out by the end of 2020.

 

So Biden gets a free pass? Tipical Democrat.

 

Trump could bring world peace, give all homeless free houses, give every American a million dollars, end world starvation etc and still you all would hate him and put him down.

Even if Trump does something good it's still bad to a lefty.

I agree. Americans generally vote not for someone but against someone. In the last election, the American people voted against Hillary Clinton. Bravo! America did the right thing. The deeds of the American government are also judged (though less obvious) not so much by what it has accomplished but by what it avoided doing and I have a very sickening feeling that Joe Biden is going to do things to make the U.S. population miss Donald Trump something awful.

 

I would actually praise him for those things. I gave him credit for the peace that was brokered between Israel and the UAE back in August. The problem is, y'all keep trying to give him praise for things he hasn't actually done. The Pfizer vaccine, which was the first one to be approved and distributed in the US, was developed in Germany without any help from "Operation Warp Speed." When Trump tried to claim credit for it, Pfizer-BioNTech put out a statement setting the record straight. But Trumpers fall all over themselves trying to heap praise on the man, I guess because he's a baby who needs constant positive reinforcement. It's pitiful and pathetic.

 

Who is giving president trump credit for developing the pfizer vaccine?

op warp speed is a lot more than just ‘developing a vaccine’ in a lab.. getting a vaccine from clinical trials to patients after production entails a lot of moving parts.

Whilst the pfizer vaccine has depended less on op warp Speed, there are other vaccines, like moderna vaccine which have been aided by op warp speed.

As to op. warp speed: There is no indication that Trump did anything special that no other president would have done. The evidence for this is that the US was not even the fastest of the western world to roll out the vaccine, we were beaten by the UK and Canada. In addition, expect maybe for France, most western countries were only 1-3 weeks behind us in the roll out, a roll out in the US that over-promised and under-delivered. At the end, Trump was good at the PR effort, and giving it a flashy name. That's all you can expect from a reality TV show star.

 

The problem with Warp Speed is Don thought it was enough to use taxpayer dollars to help develop the vaccine...........as EVERY prez would have done........and then take credit for it. Unfortunately, there was no comprehensive plan to effectively distribute and administer the vaccine once it was available.

 

You mean 'warp speed' that spent 6 billion and not a dime to distribute the results?
I know you all need desperately to find something, anything positive about the loser trump, we get that, but this isn't it.
He did nothing, not one thing to slow or stop Covid, in fact he did everything he could to spread it and politicize it and I have no doubt cash in on it personally.

I don't expect you to keep track of my anonymous feelings here, but I think it would be very evident immediately if you read anything I've previously posted that I give Trump zero quarter, ever. Having said that, I'm not too proud to be grateful to have a shot in my arm. He helped facilitate that. There are a million things I wish he'd done. And I promise you, as an EMT/Engineer for a fire department in Idaho, I know the damn stakes. I've run codes on COVID patients, helped intubate them, and transported lots of them. Chances are I know the game better than 99% of the people on this site. I'm grateful to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I really hope you get it too. I hope everyone gets it and we can put this in the rear view mirror. My children need to go back to school. The COVID wards need a break. The effort to get vaccines into arms was monumental. All I'm doing is expressing my gratitude.

THE SHOT IS IN MY ARM. In central Idaho last spring, we had the single highest infection rate in the entire nation. Our medical director (whose license all the county medics and EMT's practice under) walked us through what it would entail to develop a vaccine and the thinking was that it would be 18-24 months before we could expect it, and the parameters of the vaccine's efficacy were totally unknown. Here I am 10 months later, SHOT IN MY ARM.

I'm not too proud to be grateful. Trump helped. I'm grateful.

Warp speed was an abysmal failure. Just as EVERYTHING by the Dirty Donald administration related to Covid has been a complete FAILURE and we have the DEATHS AND HOSPITALIZED TO PROVE IT.

 

My point was that we'd have the vaccine in record time whether Trump was president or not. I guess one has to be grateful that he didn't screw it up more, considering the GOP "it's just like the flu" attitude, and the dismal Trump response to the pandemic on all other fronts but the vaccine.
