Harris is an opportunist like Cruz. She wouldn't have been my choice for VP.
And Robert, I can't "force" anyone to do anything - I'm not King of the World.

    Ok, shoot.

Everyone pays into the tax system, those that have gained the most and have the vast majority of the resources will typically be expected to put in more than those who have less. That is just simple math. You cannot tax someone who has no money. I can agree that we need to broaden our tax base by increasing prosperity however.

Like billionaires that pay 750$ in taxes or multinational corporations that not only pay zero but actually get money back? That kind of success?

No one wants to confiscate all of their income. Where did you come up with that?

Yes, commonly referred to as your total tax burden. Which is why you statement above that only 47% pay into the system is absurd. So you understand this but continue to lie about the process, why?

So if we tax the rich we are actually just taxing everyone, so your fears that only the rich are paying it is unfounded. You solved your own issue! Congratulations

I know Biden won. You see, all the horseshit conspiracy theories pushed by Trump and his brainless minions have been thoroughly debunked and shown to be complete garbage. Anyone with half a brain cell knows that Biden won the election, easily I might add.

Note to mods, the brainless minions are Trump's attorneys, not any fine members of these forums.

Deceptions in the time of the ‘alternative facts’ president
    https://apnews.com/article/donald-t...ic-elections-69cafecdde291c5211daf9ffd0f2ad05

WASHINGTON (AP) — Truth caught up with Donald Trump after years of giving chase.

The twice-impeached president painted a fantasy world in office, starring himself. In this world, he did things bigger, better, more boldly than all who came before him while facing enemies more pernicious than any in creation.

In service of his ego, his nature and his reelection prospects, he said things that were not only wrong, but the precise opposite of right. He said them over and over, in leaps and bounds, and no less so when the deceptions were exposed.

We’re rounding the corner on the virus, he said repeatedly, when the obvious reality was that the most lethal stage of the pandemic was just picking up. On the cusp of this danger, he spread the suspicion that masks make you more vulnerable to COVID-19, not less.

What does your video have to do with Trump losing every single fraud suit brought in front of a Judge? Including the SCOTUS, twice?

This is how Democrats stumble when confronted.

You treat Government as the superior to the public. As if we the public do not deserve to be treated fair, just the Feds deserve to rip us off.

I presented the both side of the mouth argument made by Democrats and you can't refute it.

If you think that of all the Trump corporations just $750 was paid in taxes, clearly you do not understand taxes yet.

The myth of the Democrats is taxing the rich saves us from paying taxes. But it does not save us.

Gee, imagine that, Faux using an edited video that does not give the full context of what Hillary said so they (and you) can mischaracterize it. Imagine my surprise.

The media has failed to educate the mass public of what courts of law do.

To lose, one must first be heard in court. Trump actually participated more as a bystander in courts of law. Others went to bat for Trump. Trump lost so he should have played a more direct role in courts of law.

I give the example of the man whose wife wants a divorce.

She has a boyfriend. The Boyfriend sues the husband for her divorce. Courts will not award him a victory since he is not lawfully in the marriage compact.

Please post actual proof that people have been claiming that if the Rich pay more taxes, the rest of us won't have to.

Trump claimed he was going to balance the budget in ten years by reducing taxes - unfortunately, he reduced taxes
and increased spending and here we are with Trump INCREASING the National Debt by more in 4 years than
Obama did in 8 years. When it comes to Economic problems, Republicans have proved to be every
    bit as inept as Democrats.

I think intelligent people are quite aware of how the Courts work. You see, when you fail to bring a shred of evidence to a Court, you have no case. When a Judge asks Trump's lawyers if their suit they brought forward was a fraud suit, each and every one of them said no. Do you know why that is? I'll tell you why, you see lying to a Judge in Court is a crime and has dire consequences. Lying to Robert at a fake hearing in a hotel ballroom has no consequences.

    Savvy?

This is one article by Calvin Woodward

The State of AP’s Factchecking Is Sad—as Usual
Why does AP still let Calvin Woodward “factcheck” political speeches? Does no one at the news service know what actual factchecking looks like? (If you’re coming in late, see FAIR Blog, 10/30/08, 2/25/09, 4/30/09, 1/28/10, 8/31/12.) Woodward’s latest venture (1/29/14) into the factcheck genre, following President Barack Obama’s State of the Union speech, produced […]

Trump also faced a congress. Can you tell the group posting here the power of the Congress?

Do not load your claims up on me please.

CNN will not give you proof to back me up.

When Trump cut taxes, the vast bulk of his cuts went to the middle class and not to the rich.

Obama did not give a **** that he set the then record for all presidents in raising debt. Yet you defend Obama. Funny when do you plan t o attack Democrats as you once claimed you will?

Wow. This is unintelligible and addresses almost nothing that I responded with.

Also, I never said trump’s businesses paid no taxes — I said “billionaires that pay 750$ in taxes or multinational corporations that not only pay zero but actually get money back”. Do you comprehend what the word or does to a sentence?

In one term the Tangerine Turd singlehandedly managed to flip the White House, HOR and Senate Democratic. I'll be damned - the sonofabitch did make America great again...

Of course you are waiting and wanting that, after all it's what all the provocation and destruction and racial hate promotion has been designed to create.
It's been a lot like an old western, where the arrogant jackasses do their best to create lynch mobs to support their hate, trying to incite riot. I know, you never noticed that.
You would have if you weren't in the crowd and backed off for a better view.

Assuming they fail to actually create a rebellion, let's consider what else is likely to happen.

Aside from the loss of the first amendment for anyone except the thugs who have perpetrated this, the real killer will be in terms of economics.
It's not hard to see unless you can't manage your own finances, which of course many cannot. It's not too much different; you simply can't fix your financial problems by throwing away money. However, you can attract voters with promises of free money and hate for the people you plan to steal it from in order to justify the theft. These people are dumb enough you can sell them extended warranties on their fast food order, so long as someone else pays the bill.

Biden already has endorsed or favors:
A road to citizenship for about 20 million illegal aliens. That says anybody that can get here can stay, and the thousand Hondurans on the road now will be a drop in the bucket.
Reparations- which is probably the dumbest move any politician could ever think was rational.
Forgiveness of student debt. That is debt to the American taxpayers- And Biden is willing to stiff them with all the debt of those who benefited.
Support for overturning most all Trump achievements, which among other things will result in large companies moving their legal location out of the US for better tax conditions- and knowing they can never trust the government to learn how to be partners for mutual benefit. Jobs and money will again flow away from America- due to the stupidity and short-term vision of leadership.
Destroy our energy independence; putting us back to dependence on arab oil, and giving them leverage again. Note that the price of gas has been stable all through Trump's years.
Support at least some of the green new deal ideas, causing devastating losses to the very industries that are vital to and working on achieving the same goals.

This is just the short list.

Basically you are likely to see the golden goose slaughtered for a big dinner by people who are promising you the eggs will keep coming.
Are you dumb enough to believe that? A lot of people are; they have been conditioned to selling their votes as well as their freedom for promises that can't possibly be kept. By the time they fully understand, it will be too late for them to do anything about it, even if they did have the courage, which they won't. Rubes and sheep never do, and both get led to the slaughter one way or another.

There's an oath that every soldier and every major politician takes along with members of many local police and other services.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

Every member of congress is bound by that oath. A near identical oath applies to all our soldiers- it includes "and that I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me".

Seems that every member of congress, every member of the military of a host of others have sworn to bear true faith and allegiance to the constitution, and to defend it from all enemies- including the domestic kind. Those who fail to honor that oath would be committing a treasonous act. A great many others have taken that oath by choice, and pledged themselves to the same duty. Those trained soldiers you envision as supporting the people trying to overthrow the constitution may not do what you presume they will do. Most of us who have taken that oath hold it very sacred, and will back it up if that becomes necessary.

If defending the constitution offends you- you will be on the wrong side of the line.
