    Who said that? Hint it wasn't Trump. Trump said in Response to and article in fusion magazine that some thirty percent of girls and women coming north to our borders were being raped along the way, that apparently there were a lot if rapist currently controlling access to our southern border. He did not say all brown people or even all Latinos were rapists. Note that is a human tragedy because we had ceded control of our southern border to coyotes and the cartels they work for. As far as I'm concerned the real racist are those who refuse to close our southern border. Nor did Trump say that all black people were son of a bitches just those figuratively kneeling on the flag, note he did not limit our to black either since it would include caucasians kneeling in solidarity with them. But keep trotting out those false narratives, I'll be happy to keep explaining to you and others that they are bogus.

    hopefully we have "learned" from the Trump fiasco...but somehow I doubt that too.
    Learning would require the admission that Trump...was...is...a big mistake....

    Well until the republican civil war is over, and they bury their political dead, and begin to come up with a set of beliefs and policies they can unite in, we will have to make do with just one. When one party implodes into two factions, what is the other one to do?

    I guess we will just have to govern the country.

    Maybe, may be not. The threat of Trumpist fascism seems to unite us, and it is not going to die just because Trump is politically decapitated. Republican figures will definitely try these tactics and try to recreate the 'magic' in every local state and federal election because between half and a third of their base adore this stuff. Another half or a third of the same base will fight them tooth and nail. We won't need nearly as high a turn-out to win as long as that remains true.
