I have Mexican friends here in Las Cruces along with El Paso and So Cal, and they all have tons of family members in Mexico.

 

Especially small children. They need to learn how to speak Spanish in the schools, because that is where they are going to grow up.

Holding them in the US and teaching them in English-speaking classrooms wouldn't make sense.

 

In the case of anchor babies, who get automatic US citizenship, they are still going to be growing up in Mexico because that is where their parents will be deported back to.
You don't want children spending their childhood growing up apart from their parents.

And letting the parents live in the US just because they have a US citizen child would be unfair to those parents, and would just create a perverse incentive for more migrants to come and have a baby on US soil, in the future.

The parents should not have broken the law. They are illegal criminals.

My wife was a foster child. 2 of my step children are in foster care and a group home. This is in Missouri. Child services has had a hard time trying to find them a place to stay. There is literally not enough beds for American kids with no where to go and this forces them to be in places that ate not really good for kids. Child services does not have the money or people to take proper care of these kids.

Now the Democrats don't want us to put illegal kids in cages but where should we put them?

We have no room in America for millions of Hispanic/Latino kids and putting them in cages until we can determine the parents are safe or finding a home in Mexico or SA for these kids is the only logical thing to do.

America can't feed all the homeless we have and they want to flood America with millions more people we don't have jobs for?

In California the illegals are overcrowding poor black neighborhoods. The Democrats have no plan for these dreamers after they get here.

When I drive from las cruces to Roswell, once I hit Apache territory near Ruidoso there are Indian murals stating Honor Your Culture. Call them and talk about their souls. America has a culture and it ain’t Mexican, that’s why Mexico has their own country.

 

Usually a misdemeanor is not enough to prohibit entry, however. And usually a felony is. There are always exceptions, of course.

We also need to remember that most illegals have to commit multiple federal offenses which can add up to some serious jail time: forgery, perjury, income tax evasion, fraudulently obtaining public benefits in some cases.
