All 8 people that are attending the grand 'send off' are gathering at Andrews as we speak. 6 more hours and the fascist stain will be history.

    Totally.

First, in keeping with the Topic of the thread, I saw that the speech was about 20 minutes long.

So I, actually, made a legit attempt to watch it.

I got through about 3 minutes.

It was so obvious that Trump was just reading stuff off the promoter (that was written for him) that he didn't agree with (or even understand).

As far as getting rid of the STAIN?

It was a tribute to America (and perseverance) that we (as a country) survived 4 years of this Mistakenly-Elected Divisive Imbecile.

History will not be kind to Trump.

    Trump's "Legacy":

Twice Impeached and (Undeniably) the WORST POTUS of All-Time.

While he's still technically be in office for 5 more hours (4 hours 40 minutes), he's actually leaving the WH at 8am today (to complete the massive fumigation required).

I didn't watch his 'farewell' speech, in keeping with my concerted effort since December 2018 to not watch Donald Trump speak, except for brief sound bites where I couldn't get to the mute button fast enough. I don't feel any less informed or American for having done so. I made an exception for the 2 debates, which confirmed my original plan was the way to go.

I will obviously not watch any Trump-centric events today, should any actually be covered by reliable media, and I urge all Americans to do the same. Today is about 1 man, 1 woman, and 1 country, not 1 childish coward.

Clearly the worst President in the past 140 years of this country. I'd say not even close for all time worst, although I know true historians put Buchanan and Johnson in strong competition, and I will let them make the final call after the dust settles.

Good luck President Biden. Clearly no US President has ever entered this office with more experience on how to run a government. I expect him to do a very good job and leave after a single term in 2024. I pray nobody who remotely supported this former POTUS becomes the nominee, but if one does, I expect America to rise up and crush them even worse than this election.

    **** you, Donald J. Trump...

The Trumpocity has no shame so such a jesture would only result in the Trumpocity biting the hand of the good person like the serpent Satan.

Twitter should have banned Trump the minute that he started spewing that Delusional "It was Stolen" BS.

It just goes to show you how much of an Insignificant Eunuch that Trump REALLY Is.

Without his Twitter Megaphone (where he spewed his Idiotic Brain Diarrhea, while Inciting Domestic Terrorists to Commit a Deadly Act of Insurrection)--Donald Trump is a Scared (and Frightened) Little Man.

I have to agree with you that is a disgusting visual. That "guy" has a daughter so obviously he has no respect for the mother of that daughter and not for that daughter.

That is a very extremely selfish thing for that "guy" to have done. If that "guy" decided at some time that he was "woman" why the fornicating hell did he get married. Why spread the gene defect to future generations.

That "guy" may be qualified but Biden FUBARRED on that one. It is a horrible image to start and heal our country. Obviously that guy has an extremely demented mental problem. That problem is his and he should have dealt with it himself and not imposed it on innocent people.

If I were Trump I would get off the plane in Fla. walk over to the mob of reporters who will be waiting down there and announce "I am running for President in 2024". He might even announce a third party like "The American Party" or "Patriot Party". It would be a "hoot" watching the pundits going ballistic. Everyday for four years Joe would have to fight for press coverage. Parlar could be Trumps new platform as Twitter stock drops to rock bottom without ad revenue. Some other company like Facebook could start up with uncensored political speech as long as it didn't infringe upon another persons rights. Something colleges gave up long ago.

    "Forthcoming evidence " ???

LOL, Ya, any minute now there will be evidence, hold your breath, here it comes, any second now, just wait, they have it somewhere....they're looking, just put the country on hold because there is evidence of voter fraud somewhere.....they just can't seem to find it...they're still looking, hang on, any minute now...;)

Why didn't the evidence "come forth" by now???

    "perhaps he did"
    "perhaps 1+1=2"
"perhaps the Pacific Ocean contains water"

Anyway, back to the OP and "the movement":

IF the GOP is going to have any chance going forward, it is imperative that the GOP Rid Themselves of the STAIN of "Trumpism".

On a related topic, I'm actually STUNNED Individual 1 didn't pardon himself, although now that I think about it, I wonder if he thought he could pardon himself for acts committed before his failed term?

Even if not for the Campaign Finance issue, I imagine evidence of various illegalities will start emerging once the dark drapes have been pulled back...

He still has that $200+ Million Slush Fund (that he Scammed his "supporters" out of).

He will probably need to spend a lot on Legal Fees.

    So sad they did.
Republicans hated seeing the southern border being a place that drug dealers, sex traffickers, and mothers and fathers who abandoned their children being used as point of their corruption.

Republicans hated seeing minority neighborhoods lacking jobs so they started enterprise zones which before Covid hit reduced the lowest figures for unemployment among blacks, Latinos and women.

Republicans hated seeing working men and woman having to pay mandated premiums to the government for insurance they didn't even have, so, they eliminated it.

Republicans hated the wars overseas in the Middle East so they first eliminated Isis and it's Caliphat, negotiated peace in Afghanistan, and started bringing our troops home. In four years no new wars were started.

Republicans hated the trade deals that had cost our economy and citizens income and jobs. They ended those treaties for better ones more favorable to the USA.

Republicans hated some of the justice of the past administrations and passed a comprehensive reform bill.

Trump had to bail out the lobster business because of his policies.

Peculiar what Trump supporters call winning. :)

FYI, power is always fleeting. Remember, 4 yrs ago, Trump supporters were gaga after the election thinking they were invincible. Political power can change suddenly and quickly, most certainly at the fed House level and even state.
