Antifa was too busy celebrating the inauguration to disguise themselves as trumpers again to do another riot

Blue lives only matter when 'the left' or black people are the culprits. When Trumpers murder a cop it is immediately forgotten. Didn't happen. A bit like people storming the Capitol with stun guns & restraints, the injuries to dozens of 'Blue lives', the pipe bombs & the guy whose truck was full of guns & bombs. Didn't happen. ANTIFA!!! Unfortunately for your little narrative, people on the Right 1) didn't forget the murder of a cop and 2) condemned his killing, along with the riot.

Nor do I recall the hosts of RW cable news stations excusing their actions as Chris Cuomo of CNN excused the actions of the violent Leftists who killed and injured the scores of cops they targeted last summer:

 

It actually makes perfect sense for them not to attack. Why would they attack like they did when there are overwhelming odds against them? Chances are the insurgents are trying to avoid being arrested. As for what it called for? Good job downplaying what happened. Glad to know the right will take accountability for what they created and enabled.

 

Okay I lied- there is one kind of attack that I was expecting today but I'm actually really happy hasn't happened so far. Cyber attack. Relatively cheap and easy to do, can cause a lot of damage. Especially since the inauguration is virtual.

Today is January 20th, and yes the Phantom Insurrectionist Menace failed to materialize...

 

I was glued to my TV watching all the burnings and lootings and preventing people from entering the event.................oh wait that was four years ago.

 

More like a pound of civility. There could have been riots all over the city, the protection was around the event. And all quiet around the country. Unlike when Trump began his term.

 

Never stopped the leftwing anarchist they disgraced themselves the last two years.

And I thought Trump was going to refuse to leave and have to be dragged out just as he launched the nuclear weapons.

Never mind that an imaginary threat to our Republic that failed to materialize was so enormous that it required 25,000 troops to counter I'll ask you again - where was all the violence across the country where there weren't two divisions of infantry to confront your so-called "insurgents"?

Refusing to buy the Left's manufactured hysteria isn't downplaying anything, and unlike the Left the Right hasn't defended and made excuses for the unlawful actions committed by the people on our side of the aisle.

 

Funny how the threat of being arrested on federal charges makes people think twice about doing something illegal.

I have seen lots of it. Usually in the form of "But BLM.....". It's quite common to hear someone on the right say it.

Trump supporters are not known for committing violence.

 

Yet you and others keep putting up carefully chosen images specifically designed to obscure the violence involved in the riot. Five people died. One was so badly beaten that he died, another was crushed by the crowd. You know this, but you want to pretend none of that happened.

As for the 'condemnation', knda sorta. The response on PF has been instructive. To the extent that Trump supporters condemned the riot at the time, they almost exclusively did so as part of an attack on 'the left'. I can barely recall a post disagreeing with the riots that didn't spend at least part of its time attacking 'the left'. If you can't just say its wrong then you don't really think its wrong.

Then we had the second group, who have basically just denied and deflected. All the bad stuff is ANTIFA, not Trump supporters. Anything they don't like is 'fake news' and someone else's fault and this is all about how much of a victim they are.

Now we have those trying to rewrite history before it is even dry on the page by distracting from the violence and trying to present this as peaceful. And when they get called on it what is the response? Do they take responsibility for what they are doing? Of course not, just more 'but the left' and distractions. Just because you can't admit what you are doing doesn't mean others can't see it.

 

This is no conspiracy, this is what always happens when law enforcement makes a mistake and is unprepared for the Bozo army. They go the other way and overprotect.

 

You have got to be kidding. The only actual spike and violence under Trump has been right wingers violence against Jews black gays Muslims and Asians. Even that doubled in areas where he had a rally. The seditionist storming the capital was the worst thing in memory.... Change the channel and rejoin reality.

 

The reality is that you are painting an entire group with a broad stroke based on the actions of a few. Isn't that what racists do?

 

So how shall the Speaker of the House be held accountable?

 

From what I saw in the news media and elsewhere there were supposed to be riots in every capital in each state. While you could claim that 25k troops situated in DC kept a riot from happening the same cannot be said for any other state capital. Where were the riots that was claimed as going to happen?
