I work for a living. At times during COVID I have spent 12 hours a day masked up at work and travelling, at others I worked from home. My nephews & nieces home schooled during COVID. Their future looks just fine.

Your crocodile tears over the fate of workers are noted. Given your politics your interest in the fate of workers wages and conditions is something close to zero. Casual workers in Australia are better off than many full time workers in the US. They have good wages and health care. I work a minimum wage job. In America, working the same job for the same hours I would be in or close to poverty. Full time jobs would be better, but depicting increased casual jobs as some sort of national disaster comparable to the loss of over 25,000 lives (that would be the number if we had failed as your nation has) is absurd. Part time jobs can become full time jobs. Dead people stay dead.

We saved the most vulnerable in our society. We didn't decide to sacrifice them on the altar of personal convenience. Governments at state & Federal level increased welfare, paid people who could not work due to COVID, provided money for businesses impacted and put the interests of people and the saving of lives over ideology. Our first lockdown stopped COVID nationwide. Subsequently one state (mine) had a major outbreak and had to go into hard lockdown. Other states have avoided that fate. Even in my state jobs are returning and the economy is roaring back to life. We don't have to watch hundreds of people die every day. We can do virtually everything we did before lockdown - eat out, get haircuts, go to school, take holidays, see live music etc. etc. Life is basically normal and we only lost 900 people.

Oh, and while I'm at it, a comment on COVID death numbers. The first big jump in COVID deaths in the US was March 15, when 60+ deaths were registered, basically doubling the total number of deaths in a single day. That means that 50 days from now will be exactly 12 months from there. If you average 3000 deaths per day until then you will easily pass 570000 deaths. That will be approximately 20% of TOTAL deaths recorded in 2019 just from documented COVID deaths. Total excess deaths will be even higher - probably 25% of the 2019 total. For perspective, relative to population COVID is killing twice the number of Americans per day as WW2 did. Of course, the people dying now are considered disposable by some, so that may not matter to you. Seems like a pretty big deal to me.

Your WHO notifications would have had no effect here in the USA as your hero Dirty Donald had officially withdrawn the USA from the WHO effective July 7 2020 and claimed to have stopped funding them in April 2020. Why we would even have received them from an organization we no longer funded and had officially withdrawn from casts doubt on their authenticity in my mind??

 

Have a look at excess death figures. They don't give a precise figure, but they strongly suggest tha tthe official figures are either correct or an undercount. At a minimum the jump in excess deaths at exactly the point reported COVID deaths rise suggests a pretty direct linkage - either it is killing people or the strain it is putting on health systems is killing them.

I agree that terms like 'Trump virus' are dishonest, but they serve the same function as 'China virus' and its varients - to play political word games. If you don't react the same way to both then you are being just as dishonest. Similarly, if you try to pretend that we don't have a fairly good idea of COVID deaths you are being dishonest for the exact same reasons. We don't know the exact number of COVID deaths down to the last digit, but we have a very good approximation that works for any practical purpose. To suggest otherwise is...well...hilariously dishonest and invalidates anything else you have to say on the topic.

The virus was created in China, the virus was not created by Trump. But I have called it COVID1984 because that's what it is, a fake epidemic towards political currency and control. And now, surprise surprise, as soon as Biden was Inaugurated, COVID1984 hysteria in blue lockdown states and cities instantly begins to abate... but I guess that's just a coincidence. Many trusting, honest people had their lives crushed by a fake epidemic, and there will be furious consequences once the truth outs completely as it is starting to do.

As far as "dishonesty" goes? In light of recent compelling science that even the corrupt bureaucrat "experts" admit, anyone who doesn't acknowledge 1. the bogus testing regimes that abused tests not designed to test actual illness towards creating panic and economic damage via tens of millions of FAKE "cases"; and 2. how that negligent testing regime led to scores of fake COVID1984 "deaths," is not just dishonest, but flat out evil.

I have NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER that there have been excess deaths in 2020 due to the scamdemic, but how many were actually caused by COVID1984 versus the immense REAL types of damage I posted in an earlier post? No one knows for sure... yet.

I have believed from the beginning that the "asymptomatic cases" was BS and that this myth began with a bunch of false positives. My idea is that especially when the China virus first began the folks administering the tests, as well as the folks reading them, didn't really know what they were doing. I mean, this was new, unchartered territory, so how could they possibly be proficient in it in such a short time? So they got tests which were inconclusive. They then, in an abundance of caution said positive, figuring it was better to get a patient who didn't have it off the street for two weeks than to take the chance of someone who had it walking around thinking they're safe. Thus, the "asymptomatic" theory. I bet if you take out all the "asymptomatic" cases, the numbers would look quite different.
