It is possible that some people timed their orders based on politics. Some of our state orders were done before the election and some after that have January 31 expiration dates in them unless renewed. I expect some to be extended but probably not all. Locally our rate of new cases peaked in mid January off a Christmas/New Years spike that was logically anticipated.

Despite the overwhelming majority wearing masks, the covid rates never showed a significant change.

I didn't claim someone said it would magically disappear, but despite absolutely nothing changing, democrats are mysteriously saying it's ok to open back up now. So tell me, despite nothing changing over the course of a day, wouldn't it have to be magic according to the left? It certainly isn't science or actual data. Maybe you could explain what nobody else has been able to in this thread.

And I never said Covid wasn't real. I simply stated the left used it for political gain, which you conveniently couldn't even address...no need to explain why you avoided it, I know exactly why you wouldn't touch my actual point. Instead you twisted one little snippet of my point so you could make an attempt at an insult.

Also, bravo for the trump reference as if that was somehow relevant.

I watched Chris Wallace this morning, asking the CDC director tough questions about vaccination roll out. Looks like the right is quickly discovering using covid against the Dems for political gain, by accusing them of botching the vaccinations. Watch and see.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. It's what politicians do. I just think it's pathetic to destroy peoples livelihoods and the entire economy because you don't like 1 person.

We know that the Trump Administration delegated it to the States, who clearly are out their depth in terms of a national rollout(though have no problem self-destructing our own economy for the purpose of an election) it's actually really hilarious yes to see them try to clean up their own mess.

What comes of the political wheel turning, if ya'll wanted to keep the "all Trumps fault, all the time" narrative rolling maybe ya'll should have voted differently.

My area hasn't either, which is sad because I think my favorite Pho place might go under.

I live in a blue state and we are just as locked down now as we were on november 3. How do you explain that?

The article itself says most of the cities are blue, not all of them. The explanation I got was that the red cities got duped. Can't argue with a conspiracy.

Not BS at all. There was zero accountability or anyone checking accurately for months. Every single Covid symptom that involved a death equaled federal money to the hospitals. NO ONE was checking to verify that a symptom meant they actually died from Covid. Often they didn’t have the tests and no one was or is going to prosecute. Is the govt going to shut down the hospitals and fine then for fraud that can’t be proven? Every case is easily dismissed if the doctor felt that Covid was a factor and that’s all that was needed.

I interviewed dozens of doctors and they all admitted the hospitals needed money and they weren’t breaking any protocols for marking a symptom as a related death. And that’s all it took to receive funding. Shortness of breath. coughing, fevers. The future of the hospitals were relying on this funding because they weren’t making any profit due to a complete lack of of voluntary procedures. It’s was devastating.

Why do you find it so hard to believe? Doctors and hospital administrators are morally superior? You don’t know any doctors or hospital staff if you think that. They watch their own asses as much as anyone.

I'm sorry but, yes, this is bullshit. The fact that it's easy to believe does not make it true. BTW, what is the death toll up to now? What would be the expected toll in a year with no novel virus? Care to explain the delta? Care to explain why ICU beds were at a critically low levels despite the lockdowns? I know in my state of NM we were almost at 100% capacity earlier in the month.

Because the economy at that point is still attributed to Trump.

Im not denying there were sick people or that loads of people died from Covid. But to think doctors didn’t use extremely lax criteria to judge whether some deaths were Covid influenced is naive. If you’re in hospice, shot, were in a terrible car accident with punctured organs or dying of cancer and you just happen to have Covid too, it’s not Covid that killed you. You were already dead. But the hospital still marked it as “Covid related” to get the free money.
I heard it from the horses mouths and other doctors that were actually open about it were quickly silenced.

There is a difference between Covid being the cause and people who died with Covid, but there isn’t anything separating them. They’re all lumped together and they shouldn’t be.

Get real you have only an opinion no proven facts that masks do not work. You appears to be mouthing political talking points about masks and social distancing.

C'mon Man... who doesn't like a bagel on a chilly Sunday??

This administration is going to be way cooler than I anticipated... and certainly more fun than 4 years of Mr. Giggles...

I have the covid rates in this country over the last 8 months as my evidence. You literally have nothing.
