Biden's pause on oil cause for big concern in New Mexico

It would appear the radical left didn't think about the consequences of getting Biden to clamp down on oil. In New Mexico alone, the state where I live, Biden is putting 100,000 jobs in jeopardy, this is already a poor state and we can't take that kind of hit.

I don't think Biden listened to both sides of the oil argument, more than likely only one side was told and then Biden was told what to do.

They’d only lose those jobs if he stopped all activity on federal lands. He didn’t, he stopped new leases and only for 60 days. Doesn’t affect existing leases.

Aside from funneling revenues to the state's coffers, the industry supports about 100,000 direct and related jobs.

Most related jobs would not be lost. The article doesn't differentiate between the two, but 100,000 jobs will not be lost.

 

Biden is working to kill jobs across the country so this is not surprising. You dems voted this in, don't call it fake news to dodge the ramifications of what he's doing. When the country is already in an economic strain due to covid and covid shutdowns, leave it to Biden to make it worse.

Obviously, Residents of New Mexico were made well aware of this possibility MONTHS BEFORE the Election.

And, Biden still won the state by over 10 Points (54.3% to 43.5%).

Obviously (to the voters of New Mexico), getting rid of Trump was more important than something that "MAY" happen.

Thus, the entire "Biden Bad for New Mexico" narrative has fallen flat (and been utterly dismantled).

I am skeptical a 60 day pause on new leases costs any jobs. The shoe that remains to be dropped is what comes as a result of the moratorium. Could be Joe is just giving Burisma time to get their company set up in the US for Hunter.

 

"Opposing views" are not an issue and , in fact, welcomed. Carrying water for sedition and repeating a Big Lie is another matter. This is suffering of their own choosing, so "revenge" is not an accurate description. More like masochism.
