And, no. Trump was TOTALLY ineffective at getting PPE, and ventilators to NYC and other places that had desperate need. Even when he sent the hospital ship, the orders were to serve NO COVID patiets.

And, he had FEMA stealing masks and other PPE from hospitals that had order that material. FEMA simply iterdicted the shipments - leaving hospitals without the necessities they thought they had purchased.

Even today, we still have hospitals that do not have adequate PPE. So, Biden is using the defense production act now, to get product to hospitals.

Trump REFUSED to help. He refused to help with PPE, with international travel, with domestic travel, with conveying the best medical science on prevention, with test strategy.

He didn't like the numbers, so he directed hat state data be funnelled through a different executie branch bureaucracy before reachig CDC - thus slowing information and leaving its value in question.

He refused to consider the plan that CDC, industry executives, and other executive branch groups created to achieve an early opening of our economy - the plan as documented on Whitehouse.gov.

He claimed he had a plan for vaccinating the population. NOW it is clear that there was ABSOLUTELY NO plan, in fact the guy Trump put in charge couldn't ansewer even the most basic questions concerning why promised deliveries were not coming.


Trump was absolutely a net negative in EVERY aspect of this pandemic. EVERY aspect.
