The presidency is a timed event.... if events during the presidency become moot post-presidency, what's the excuse for waiting 7 months then?

    Too busy??

Oh yes, because they had absolutely nothing else on their plate right? Covid for instance didn't affect timing at all? Other court cases that came first? Nothing at all? Just this one piece of dispute?

LINK: SCOTUS Granted/Noted List Looks to me like they had a lot to do. And did a lot. Please excuse the 9 Justices for not getting to something with in your time frame.

Unless you can prove that they purposely did not get to this case due to partisanship then you have nothing but garbage for an opinion.

Democrat propaganda and hate of Trump has been very divisive. The party of division, or so are the politicians. Yet their supporters are blind to it.
Trump winning and not even in office.

Maybe SCOTUS is not responsible. Trump's white-collar crimes must be tried in state courts. I heard that the NY prosecutor is about to charge Trump with his tax offenses.

What crime? This was a civil lawsuit. Who do you know on the prosecutors team who is leaking you information about the investigation which is a felony.

You heard right! Especially in New York and a couple of other 'Blue', Democrat-infested states, the lawsuits against Trump will be flying like artillery in World War I. Some will hit 'pay dirt' and others won't, but these court cases will be in the news for a long time to come....

Hmmm....where was Thomas with a dissent judgement saying that SCOTUS ought to look despite the point being moot? (Remember clearly.......this decision does not exonerate Humpty. It merely says that as he is no longer POTUS, there the matter ends. Pretty weak but convenient and legitimate cop-out on the part of SCOTUS......especially Thomas.)

They were suing to get his hotel to stop taking guest because he was President. He's not President and the courts have already said continuing a business or service is not a violation of the emoluments clause which is concerned with another country giving a salary or other direct payments directly to a high official. The Carter peanut farm did not have to stop selling peanuts when he became President.
