You aren't going to win many battles. The physiques of typical progressive men has not passed many people's notice. High school jocks and alpha males are overwhelmingly conservative. I don't support or agree with Majorie Greene. Having said that she is but 1 person who does not represent the entire party.

That was a big deal and it was wrong on every level. Majorie Taylor Greene was also wrong to like said post. Do we agree they are both not so good of people? I would be fine if Majorie was not elected again.

Majorie was not a congressman when she liked the comment. They may not be Congress people but what they said was still wrong. Majorie was also wrong. I don't support her.

 

Much as I dislike the Republican Party, banning isn't a good idea for a very long list of reasons. I'm not exactly sure how to stop its ongoing assault on democracy, but banning isn't it.

Actually, I think you have a very valid point, but only to a certain point.

Occasionally "liking" something that is more than controversial should not be cause for people to be charging the barricades, but in the case of Marjorie Taylor Green, she has been doing it a helluva lot and for quite a long time, too, so we are seeing a consistent pattern of behavior that is not just a one-time thing.

Also, without going full minority Report on you, a person's past actions, if they have been this egregious, should be treated with scorn.

-She is a sworn "Q" follower.
-See called 911 an inside job.
-See called a number of shootings, including Parkland, false flags. How disgusting can that get?
-She literally let herself be filmed trolling a teenager, David Hogg (Parkland shooting). I mean, what the hell kind of adult does that? And she was damned proud to show that film-clip, too.
-She liked, more than once, and frequently, social media postings calling for the executions of Obama and Pelosi. Let's not forget: Pelosi is Speaker of the House of Representatives.
-She also advocated for the murder of FBI and CIA and Secret Service agents. That's some pretty serious ****.
-Taylor Greene filed articles of impeachment aginst Joe Biden on Biden's first full day in office.
-Greene accused Democratic Representative Eric Swallwell of having sex with a chinese spy (he didn't and he was already married at the time), opening herself up for some major litigation in the future.
-Greene herself threatened the Governor, SOS and director of Elections in Georgia, all of them Republicans.
-Greene has tried repeatedly to get around the metal detectors in the Capitol Building because she is just bound and determined to carry her gun on the floor of the House - which is VERBOTEN.

Greene is a living, breathing molotov-cocktail, right in the middle of the floor of the House of Representatives.
Please notice that McCarthy, House minority leader, wants absolutely nothing to do with either her or crackpot Lauren Boebert, you know, the one who was ****ing live-tweeting exactly where Nancy Pelosi was in the Capitol Building as the maga marauders broke into said building.

She deserves all the scorn that sensible people of all political orientations can muster. Were she a Democrat, I would still be calling for her ouster, here and now.

 

Maxine Waters openly called for all Democrats to attack Trump cabinet members everywhere they saw them. Nobody cared and Cabinet members were accosted and harassed in restraunts.

Your moral outrage is noted in this incident and duly discarded. It is not acceptable for Democrat leaders to foment violence against Republicans and get away with it while Republicans cannot. Asymmetric ethics always lead to political violence, in fact that they are one of the most notable precursors to it. If there had been a consequence for Maxine Waters for her behavior, then your side would have a great deal of credibility. Given that there was not, how can this "moral outrage" be considered as anything other political hackery?
