The ones I owned before that terrible fishing accident seemed quite tame.

They Just laid there like a really old dog.

You have more to worry about from cars. Like guns, it's not the car but the idiot driving it. Both are machines with no will of their own, they
just sit there, hunks of metal. Both make metal go fast.

Mighty big assumption, you can tell all that from a random photo? You should try that with scratch offs!

Never in my life have I seen that in person, but I'm sure every time I'm in public, I pass many concealed carriers with no issue.

Makes you wonder why people aren't allowed to take their cars inside a grocery store.
Thing is, every single one of those guns were being carried around stores by idiots.
Maybe you can answer the question I put earlier.
How can you tell whether the guy walking the aisles is an idiot buying noodles or the next mass shooter?

So they are "idiots" for exercising a lawful right? Nice opinion. How do you know anyone behind the wheel wont intentionally run it into a crowd?

    It's an idiotic right.
We have several guns on the farm but if I wander into a store with one slung over my shoulder an armed response team will be there within minutes and I'm going to get shot.
Driving a car is a privilege which comes with many restrictions such as a licence, compulsory insurance, registration etc. Guns are the same here.

While I would not open carry in public, they obviously live in a state where it's legal. As private property a store can also prohibit such. I think open carry is unwise as some desperate criminal may try to blindside you for it, best to conceal.

What an authoritarian world we live in where no one gets nervous when cops open carry, only citizens within their rights and the laws.
Guns have plenty of laws here too.

My cops don't carry firearms routinely. There's no need for them to since gun ownership is so tightly regulated.
We have fewer than 100 gun homicides per year.
