Its sad because this is common sense, they have been so brainwashed that they don't see the obvious, or perhaps they do see it, but refuse to accept reality.

Wasn't even a knife fight. Just a bunch of ne'erdowells nary doing well. AOC not trying to connect this to her past sexual assault just shows how politically craven the democrats have become.

Yes, I agree, if they wanted to insurrect, they would have, this was just a bunch of yahoo's that were under the assumption that mobbing was fine based on the fact that previous mobbing (aka, expressing their first ammendment rights) was fine.

re: AOC, she was on the morning news program today, but I fast forwarded through that like I always do, so I missed whatever garbage she was spewing.

so, I may regret asking.... What the hell is the nutjob yapping on about now?

What's amusing is that the OP seems surprised and perplexed that the anarchist fringes in America are disinclined to vote. lol

    yip lol.

Also, generally speaking, people that do these types of things are much more likely to have some form of record from previous stupidity so they wouldn't be eligible in some states, usually this is not the first time they've crossed the line, and most likely won't be the last. I feel the same about the looters, the building burners, the Molotov cocktail throwers, the road blockers, the cement water bottle throwers, and honorable mention to any other idiots I overlooked.

Seems that 99% of people would agree that "All of that destruction is bad and the perpetrators should be arrested and jailed."

Furthermore, it seems like 99% ahould agree that Kamala Harris' rhetoric in support of peaceful protest is no more personally responsible for destruction cause by fringe communist anarchists than Donald Trump is guilty of destruction caused by fringe capitalist anarchists due to his similar political rhetoric in support of peaceful protest.

Seems we might agree that if one is guilty, then both are guilty. We, as a civilized society, might consider carefully whether blaming politicians' political rhetoric for anything bad that happens peripherally is the political road we wish to tread going forward.

Seems we, the private citizenry, might agree on many things, but alas we don't. I blame corporate media for a lot of the current blood lust and division.

I would like to fully blame the media, but I can't help but think that the sheep that follow them like they are preachers speaking the word of god are complicit as well.

But re: your remarks, spot on. Treat them both equally and if they break the law, punish them, do not be a hypocrite and say that one side is ok with what they are doing because you think they have a good reason, and then demonize another side because you disagree with their reasons.

    end rant.

That destructive precedent is being set as we speak, er, type. Democrats are not going to be happy after 2022 when both Biden and Kamala get impeached, multiple times, for committing no crime other than being politicians with different ideas.

Burn the witch! Which witch? The witch on the right! No. No. No. The witch on the left! We as a society have "progressed" back to the days of the Puritans.

    Agree, but one clarification.

Society hasn't progressed to this level, about 3% on the extreme sides have DEFINATELY gotten there. The issue I find with the media is that they give these extreme clowns a voice, instead of ignoring them like we used to do with the crazy guy at the end of the bar.

Trump voters aren't very smart, the lowest educated voter block in history (or one of).

I take no joy in them being so stupid. Lets spend more on education. I recall a few days ago politician wanted an increase/mandatory in civics classes, and NJ passed that as well. It could help maybe.

Not surprising. Anarchists don't really conform to any political ideology. And really, people that stupid probably have know idea what to believe, much less who to vote for.

No, facing reality is the only way we can fix this. Increase education.

Improper grammar on a forum is quite a bit different than believing insane election conspiracy theories, crying about the vote, and then not even voting.

Yay! We agree, in theory, though what is taught with the same or even lower investment of money is more important than increasing the amount of money for a massively indoctrinated education which has been producing a hive mentality.

It’s relevant because it points to something that most of us have known for a long time.

The reactionary right wing doesn’t really participate or show much interest in government.

It’s all slogans, tabloids, memes, and entertainment.

And, the far right wing didn’t vote before they started getting their “news” from the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck.

I know several Trump supporters who never voted before, and probably won’t bother to again.

So, I am not surprised at all.

In fact, I’d wager that 95% (if not more),of the mob that showed up on Jan 6th. care so much about politics that they couldn’t even name their own elected representatives.

IDK. She was equating the trauma of being a sex assault victim with the trauma of the capitol hill riots.

I mean she was sexually assaulted in the past. When she had to hide in a room during the riots, I would imagine she would be a bit more scared during riots going on no? I can't believe this is even a point of criticism.
