These are all nannies. I keep them around for breeding. The herd should grow. Got one really strong Billy though.

So happy to see someone’s success with what I wanted.. I do hav a nice empty goat pen that was supposed to be goat escape proof but the goats proved to be Houdini goats.

Working for a business was very rote with limited imagination and creativity.

Got an insurance quote from State Farm online that was way cheaper than what Allstate has been charging me by the tune of almost $70 per month. I am a bit dumbfounded now why Allstate charges me so much more especially when State Farm's quote includes coverages I don't have on top of what I already have for towing and rental car if I have a claim. I have been with Allstate since I have had a license.

The reason they charge you so much is because....
You have been with Allstate since I have had a license.

We had this with our house insurance a few years back. Each year it went up a few quid and we didn't think that odd, until we decided to get another quote and found it was twice as much as everyone else. I contacted them to ask why and the girl shrugged and offered us a discount.
    NO THANKS.
We check them all every year now and we are paying about $1400 a year less over all.

Isn't Allstate part of high priced Sears which is about to go bankrupt this year? I know they are closing up a lot of Sears and K Mart stores to raise capital.

We never had a goat pen. We just fenced off an area and expanded from there. That being said, Twinkle Toes was named for her ability to jump fences. We had to make sure nothing was close to the fence she could use to jump over. We have also had to duct tape a piece of wood to the horns so they couldn't go through the fence. And in some places we had to stiffen the bottom of the fence to keep them from pushing out.

And if you can keep the majority of your goats in the ones that can escape won't go far. They stay around and cry cause they can't get back in with the others. You put those back in and watch to see where they break out. And then fix.

Don't think so, but Sears and Kmart are down to about 30ish stores each I think still open last I heard. At one end of our mall are a closed Sears and JCPenny's at the other end is a bankrupt Belk's store and the last of the 4 anchors has been the location of many stores that have closed within they first few years of opening. Traditional malls are ghost towns. Selling pad sites along the parking lot is probably the only thing keeping ours afloat.

I'm really not a mall shopper but this weekend I wanted to buy a new pair of walking shoes for a trip I have coming up to Arizona and I went on-line and found a pair I liked by the picture but shoes should be bought in person to see if they fit. Same with clothes. I do enjoy the mall for that occasional get out of the house experience. Sort of like Disneyland for old folks.

Most people just continue to renew with a company they are 'comfortable' with. A different company will give a low quote to lure you in, but quite often, you will be back to the same prices in a year or two.

I rattle my agent's cage on renewal, ask about any new programs or discounts, and literally say - give me your best price so I can compare apples to apples. I don't actually say I'm getting other quotes, but the inference is clear. Because of COVID and age group changes, I will be saving an additional $700 on auto insurance. I don't think another insurer could undercut the premium at this point. :)

The guy that built the fence said it was goat proof and when we got the goats they showed him how much his fence was goat proof or rather showed us. If I can ever talk my husband into getting goats again it will be baby goats and I will hand feed them.

Opened a link that rated US home insurance co.s by letter grade, only one had a B, the rest had failing grades.
