Former President Donald Trump railed against the 2020 election while calling into Fox News to talk about Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday.
In his first live comments since leaving office, Trump spoke to Fox News about the right-wing radio king, who died on Wednesday at the age of 70 after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.
Fox anchor Bill Hemmer asked what Limbaugh told Trump after the election on Nov. 3. Trump responded by pushing the false conspiracy theory that he actually won the election.

“Rush thought we won, and so do I, by the way. I think we won substantially,” he said. “Rush felt that way strongly. Many people do. Many professionals do.”

Wow. You can't make this up.:smh:

In Trump's FIRST Live Interview (after he left office), Trump is already back to spewing IMBECILIC Debunked (Thoroughly Discredited) Conspiracies.

    ^Let that sink in.

Just days after the Senate failed to muster up enough GOP Members to do the right thing and convict Trump of Inciting a Deadly Act of Domestic Terrorism and Insurrection (A Trump-Incited Insurrection that was fueled by the IDIOTIC (and Thoroughly Debunked) "It was stolen" claim), Trump is already back on TV spewing his MORONIC Tinfoil Hat Brain Diarrhea.

I know that we are talking about Donald Trump.
(A Mistakenly-Elected Amateur (who possesses the Maturity of a Hormonal 11-year-old Instagram Queen, and the Empathy of Schoolyard Bully) with No Sense of Honor, Decency, Decorum or Morality--who had no business getting anywhere near the Presidency).

But, even in the context of Trump's 4-Year Desecration of the Dignity of the Presidency, this seems incredibly ill-advised.

Is anybody surprised by Trump reviving these Completely Absurd, Debunked, Discredited, and Mindless Election Conspiracies?

Nope. Not surprised. There's immense money to be made and, like a good psychopath, Trump is incapable of changing his behaviour.

It's a rocky road downward in personal evolution, though. King of the deluded deplorables is a miserable existence.

A tool of epic proportions. Good thing he was voted out of office.

Even if Trump doesn't believe there was fraud, he's in too deep now to change what he's saying. Why are you guys still thinking about Trump 24/7 anyway? he's gone! celebrate your victory and stop whining about everything, Jeez!

He certainly is going to have to answer to his false allegations at the civil lawsuit by Dominion. :)

I seriously doubt his lawyer would recommend him repeating that junk on national TV.

Trump has a big ego. He's probably happy about ANY trials because it keeps him in the spotlight. I just am tired of hearing about him. i'm not a Biden fan but i'd rather be hearing about what the CURRENT president is up to

Well I don't anyone that would be happy about being sued and losing money to that lawsuit. If what you say is true, then Trump requires serious mental help, or most certainly an evaluation of his cognitive faculties are in order.

You don't think there would be a thread here (started by the devout trumpers) if Obama was claiming the election was stolen months after the fact?

Anybody who thinks that the reaction of Patriotic Americans to the Egregious Act of Classlessness and Stupidity (on the part of a Defeated Former President) has anything to do with "whining" completely misses the point (and is in the wrong thread).

    The POINT Is:

Trump is Going Out of His Way to Sow Division (at a time when America really needs be trying to come together).

And, for a Person in Trump's Position (as a Former President) to use his megaphone to Sow Division is a Disgrace.

It has nothing to do with "whining".:bored:

And, anybody who thinks that shining a light on Trump's Egregious Behavior amounts to "whining" is in the wrong thread

So Trump calls into Fox to talk about the passing of Rush and changes the subject to himself ... of course ...

You appear to be happy to have your tormentor back. When you start calling your democrats out for their open calls for violence you might be more credible. As it is, it's nice to see the effect one guy has on you.

Trump lost pure and simple. He lost because his obnoxious personality, his childish antics like name calling and throwing temper tantrums, along with his 3rd grade schoolyard bullying tactics turned independents off. He rode the independent vote to the white house in 2016, but independents turned on him throwing him out of the oval office.

I'll add this, it wasn't Trump's policies or stances on issues that independents disliked. They were for some, against some, fairly evenly split on policy. It was his very unpresidential behavior and rude persona. I would wager the farm even with the pandemic that if Trump had a nicer personality, like a Reagan, Bill Clinton or even an Obama, he would have won a second term. I think with independents, Trump's behavior as president was very distasteful to independents which they thought was way below the dignity of the office of the president deserves.

I think the numbers from the November election proves the above. Many independents voted for Biden to get rid of Trump, then voted Republican down ballot which even losing the presidency by 7 plus million votes, the Republicans gained 13 house seats, 2 state legislatures and a governorship. I think 2020 was more a vote against Trump but not so much his policies when it comes to independents. If the Democrats think 2020 was an endorsement for their policies, I think they'll be in for a rude awakening come 2022. This election was an anti Trump election. Not one that gave the democrats a mandate or endorsed or rejected either parties agenda, policies etc. Just a vote against Trump.

I don't care about his cognitive faculties. He isn't the president anymore. I think we should be concerned about Joe. There's a strong possibility he presses the NUKE button accidentally because he confused it with an espresso maker

The glaring contradiction in your post, you had no concerns when Trump was POTUS about the nuke button.

There's no easy way around this, Trump is either delusional &/or suffering from dementia OR he is purposely spreading the vicious "big lie" about the election in an attempt to destroy the US system of governance. Those are the choices folks....and for the record, I don't think Trump is delusional or suffers from a bad case of dementia......

Some people still haven't come to grips with Trump's Landslide Defeat.

The Constant (Repetitive) "Lookie Here! Uncle Joe!" stuff is all part of the grieving process.

Anyway, as to the OP, Trump (as always) just keeps digging himself a bigger hole.

Trump knew what day of the week it was. NO, I wasn't concerned about him pressing a button. I was concerned about him making stupid tweets.
let me rephrase that. The only button I worried about him pressing was the "send" button on twitter

You mean like all the " ORANGE MAN" comments wasn't part of YOUR grieving process? get real...I see you are still in double standard land! How's the weather over there?
You guys called him way worse than "uncle"...lol...funny how you guys can dish it out but you can't take it in
I suggest trying to get thicker skin
    Cheers!
P.S. I'll be calling out double standards ANY time I see it

I bet nobody hates Trump more than the Republicans who are pretending to like him. They can't win their seats without him, but they can't win an election with him.

    Exactly.

I honestly believe that the "3rd Party" idea (floated by Scaramucci and others) is going to catch on.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/11/politics/republican-officials-discuss-forming-party/index.html

In any event, it will be impossible for the GOP to ever Win the Presidency (ever again) unless they rid themselves of Trumpism.

At this point, people from the Romney, Kasich , McCain wing have to be willing to lose a few elections just get rid of Trump's Influence.
