Do Democrats even have any similar annual conference? I think they just pick the leaders they want and cheat voters out of their choices if they like someone better than who the DNC already decided on.

Is there an annual "showcase" of Democrats where established leaders and up and coming stars meet to brainstorm and speak? Maybe I missed it.

 

It started in the 60's with LBJ. Conservatives learned to laugh off such nonsense a few decades ago when we moved beyond racism, but the Democrats got stuck there as one of their only "talking points".

I suspect that locals will know more about this, but Dems do have a national convention. Did you realise that this CPAC was a select group of invitees? For example, Nikki Haley was not invited. Hardly 'democratic' and open.

Btw...where is this "several dozen of similar incidents" that you speak of? I know of one. The one ad that had a sheriff's star which the left claimed was a slight against Jews used by Nazi's to mark Jewish people. But it was just a sheriff's badge.

Are you aware Obama inherited an economy that was in a recession and that handed off a great economy to Trump?

 

He handed off a decent economy that could go no where but UP when it got it. Nothing he did made that happen, it had no where else to go. He simply spent far more than Trump, while accomplishing far less. Trump found that magic wand.

 

An economy that is in a recession is not a decent economy. No where to go but up? Are you serious? I remember republicans proclaiming Obama would bring us into the next Great Depression. How's that trade deficit looking right now? Trump has certainly improved the economy of foreign countries.
