Christian fundamentalists belong to the current dominant global power (Western civilization) and don't have to experience the (perceived) insult of, eg, S.Arabian or Iranian military bases on their homelands, which was one of Bin Laden's chief gripes, along with the creation of Israel (part of fundamentalist Christian mythology to do with the "end times", which Trump played along with).
