The Science is about a weakening of Oceanic Thermal Conveyor currents caused by fresh water diluting the salinity of oceans at the poles.

So, the science practiced by NASA is what..

Even the Chinese have been bought and paid, that must have been expensive.
    Sigh.

It’s hilarious that threads like this only pop up in the winter time. The right always confuses weather with climate. Gee, it was cold last night. Time to rehash Hannity logic.

I didn't say cycles are political. I said or at least meant that the climate change issue as we see it today is a political issue. The science isn't clear. Better?

The science is clear if you read it. If you listen to right wing propaganda, it isn’t.

When all major corporations, government research and education institutes agree, saying it “isn’t clear” is delusional. AGW is clear.

Pretending that “the day after” isn’t a the farce that it is , do you know where the fresh water comes from ?

The science has gaps, but the overall picture is very clear. Scientists from Europe, America, China, Russia agree.
I point this out to demonstrate the lie in the claim that the scientific opinion has been bought and corrupted.

    @dagosa
    @Tigger2

Did either of you ever read or personally study
    the Oceanic Thermal Conveyor Systems

And the "climatic" changes associated with
their weakening? Ref.: above, as weak as not
    seen for 1,000 years.

Earth has cycles and the warm times are curtailed
    by the melting polar ice.
    Witness, probably yous won't

with what rapidity a cool down may occur

    History Channel too right wing?

    Have A Nice Day
    while you may :)

I don't think it has been bought and corrupted. I just think partisanship affects peoples' thoughts.

    Nov. 64 - June 1966
I attended Corona del Mar High School
then in a relative outback off a 2 lane
Jamboree Road. Now 8, or 10, or even 12!

In an elective class I opted for Second Year High School Biology

and opted out of Physics to my father's dismay.
Ref.: My Father, casual chat - I think.

Way Back, before Ecology was a political word
we did slope exposure and inter tidal comparisons.

I gained an appreciation for tidal estuaries as "wombs of the Earth".
here in Back Bay Newport Bay 92660 California
    LATER
noticed, estuaries steadily appropriated creating New Real Estate.
I gained an appreciation for the oceans. Their role as thermal
    conveyors
and upwelling nutrients too creating more fertile fisheries.

And this was just, Biology. Ecology.
Build floating, anchored islands that release nutrients
    in the mid Pacific.
    Proven yet not industrial.

I have no ax to grind, except on really bad science
such as the Gospel of Cholesterol
or Gospels of Climate Change Alarmist.
Climate changes just like the weather!

    Gospels with so many parrots.
Including diving for dollars "Scientist" :worship:
Inconveniences overlooked in old written history from China to Europe history.

AGAIN I offer as above the weakening of the
Gulf Stream off the Yankee coast.
Weakest in 1,000 years. Referenced above

Never in the history in Climate Study has the rate of change been as great as it has since the industrial revolution. It’s NOT about change, it’s about the rate of change. The repeated and feeble declaration of the right......means math just wasn’t their thing.
So are we on record calling every major corporation, university and government of the free world, Alarmist. Cause really, Fix News followers, are alone

oh, and Lipitor is useless, right ?

Have you ever read the findings on AGW from the AAAS website ? It’s more informative. And it’s based on real science.

Has the polar ice cap ever receded at as Great a rate as it has since the industrial revolution ? No. A friendly reminder that is forgotten. No one from NASA or aaas has ever said that the climate doesn’t change. They are saying, it has never changed so fast since the industrial revolution. AGW is related to the rate of change and its affect on our ability to adapt at this increased rates. So far, your last few post show you keep forgetting it’s not about change, but rate of change.

    Good Websites
for the :worship: Man Made Global Warming  faithful.
YOU wouldn't dare question "scientists say"
    GOT REAL Science?
SCIENCE with no attachment to the $ $ $ ?

    TRY COMPREHENDING IT ALL
Thinking through the evidence as an individual.
What of Atlantic Cod & Herring too ;)
The wakening Gulf Stream is happening
unseen for at least 1,000 years.
A lessening of the Oceanic Thermal Conveyor system
Like it or not, it is referenced.
And shutting down those currents, driving them less polar and more equatorial favors a serious freeze in Los Angeles, California
    etc. herring & cod too.

So just ignore the weakening Gulf Stream
    Inconvenient to dogma!

I can understand why you dropped that physics thing. You haven’t once posted anything indicating you know what AGW is about. A lot of stuff ( rubbish ) that has nothing to do with the topic of climate change. But, I do compliment you on your boldness in indicating you’re smarter then NASA, the aaas and every accredited university natural science department in the world.
    That takes gonads.

We recently had a post where a denier declared that he knew what he was talking about because he’d been thinking about this issue for a long, long time. Is this what you’re trying to say ?

Enlighten us. Tell us where you get your AGW ideas from. So far, I want to avoid these places. But it would be good to know. Where ?

Many large individual events have happened in history that have effected climate, fact is none of those events have happened in the 20th or 21st century.

I don't think climate change depends on catastrophic events. You said the same thing essentially. Why post it?

Who knows. And how authoritative do you expect that our ability to discuss less than 50 total years of observation is actually enough to create authoritative knowledge? You're like the 13 year old that discovers sex for the first time and assuming it's never ever been done before... And what NASA is saying is, simply justification for more future funding. They cannot be authoritative here, so, in the absence of actual historic context, they use hyperbole to beg for federal dollars. It's pretty transparent when you think about it.

Since you're here during whatever coal or NG power to play on the internet, what are you doing to slow your contribution to man made warming again?
