It is a good article because for the smart and curious reader it urges caution.

They are The Powers That Be, the guardians of official narratives 'round the world. In this case the official narrative that Covid is wicked dangerous, killing gazillions of people, and solved only by a cocktail manufactured by Big Pharma.

If you can't figure that much out, it's likely your claim to being an enquiring mind is very much a bluff.

She is trying to mimic choreic movements but is doing it all wrong which is even more evident when she stands up. This is a lay person's interpretation of what choreic movements should look like.

This, next, is the real thing. Observe how profoundly different these movements are:

    Here is another example:

In my opinion what we are seeing here is a manifestation of conversion disorder. These movements are psychological in nature rather than neurological. It's the only diagnosis that fits these movements that have no neurological soundness. It is equivalent to someone who has pseudoseizures due to conversion disorder rather than real seizures from epilepsy.

    Seems like my colleagues agree:

    https://theness.com/neurologicablog/index.php/be-skeptical-of-video-showing-vaccine-side-effect/

[By the way, my colleague is being generous here... this is NOT a new phenomenon currently unknown to neurology...]

Do observe that I'm not saying she is "faking" it. I'm just saying, the most likely diagnosis here is conversion disorder, where the person unconsciously seeks psychological gratification by manifesting pseudo-neurological symptoms (it's an unconscious call for attention). Likely she believes that she is indeed having a neurological problem. The glitch is, this is not neurological at all as it doesn't match any of the known movement disorders.

No physician with a decent knowledge of movement disorders will fail to look at this video and realize that this is not true chorea. If you find anybody saying otherwise, then that person has an agenda (there are anti-vaxxers even among physicians, unfortunately).

So, is this a new phenomenon? Not at all. Instances of conversion disorder mimicking neurological phenomena were described by Sigmund Freud since 1895 when he published his pioneering treaty Studies On Hysteria. This is nothing new, MJ Davies. You'll always find stuff like that when a topic occupies such a huge chunk of attention in the minds of most of humankind... people with this psychological need will flock to it.

It's just unfortunate that a bunch of poor souls like the commentators on YouTube, not having the professional knowledge that my colleagues possess, believe that this is some sort of horrible problem caused by the Moderna vaccine, and therefore will refrain from getting protected. Sad.

Haha, this is not real dystonia. Clearly another case of conversion disorder, even more evident with the acquired foreign accent. See post #30.

As a matter of fact I shouldn't have said that conversion disorder is the only possible diagnosis for these two women. There are two other possibilities.

One, is malingering. The difference is that conversion disorder is unconscious; the person firmly believes that the symptoms are organic in nature rather than psychogenic. We call the mechanism behind these cases of conversion, primary gain, because it is a reward mechanism that is internal (primary) to the psychological apparatus (usually the internal resolution of a psychological conflict). In the case of malingering, the person does know (it's conscious) that the symptoms are fake, and willingly and knowingly fakes them for what we call secondary gain, which is external - such as workman's compensation, "get-out-of-jail" card, lawsuits, VA service connection, some other monetary gain, etc. So it is conceivable that these women might have been paid by some sort of anti-vaxxer lobby to exhibit these symptoms, or are angling for a lawsuit against vaccine makers or vaccine providers, etc.

Two, is factitious disorder, when a person consciously fakes an illness (or even self-provokes a real illness) in order to earn and enjoy the "sick role" and collect from others (such as a spouse, a care provider, or a doctor) sympathy, pity, and loving care. In this case, it is conscious, but the gain is primary gain (internal psychological gratification). So a person with factitious disorder will for example knowingly and willingly inject a contaminated solution into his/her veins to get septicemia and high fever. When the focus of the factitious disordered person is neurological or psychiatric the person will simply fake the symptoms.

So, conversion is not the ONLY possibility. Malingering and factitious disorder are also possible. But a true neurological condition? Nah. That's CLEARLY not what we are seeing here in either case, the first one trying to mimic chorea, and the second one trying to mimic dystonia.

Here are the mechanisms behind these three conditions:

Conversion Disorder - Unconscious, Primary Gain
Factitious Disorder - Conscious, Primary Gain
    Malingering - Conscious, Secondary Gain

Thank you for taking the time to respond in depth on this topic. I wanted to finish reading all the linked information before responding.

I can definitely see a marked difference in each woman's movements now that I have something by which to compare them.

I also have a better understanding of conversion disorder. It sounds plausible especially given Skelton's comments that "it's exhausting to have one's body move like this all day long". I would imagine it takes quite a bit of energy to do that voluntarily but conversion disorder explains how it can be involuntary and not a neurological disorder simultaneously.

I agree that it's sad that some people won't consider taking the vaccine based on one or two "examples" of what they believe are negative side effects as described by those presenting that argument.

With all that said, I still have some concerns about the vaccine which mainly center around how fast it arrived on the market and, thereby, the limited window in which side effects can be thoroughly observed and documented. I've also read that it's not a vaccine (by definition) and it's only "good for three months" (as was told to a friend by her doctor). Basically, there is so much information and misinformation out there that it's difficult for a layperson to make heads or tails of it all. And, I'm sure you can understand how experiencing a vaccine injury, personally, can give one (specifically, me) pause.

Thanks again for your insight and opinion on this.

How fast it arrived in the market: the FDA did abbreviate the requirement to two months after the second shot for 50% of the trial participants. Usually it would have been 6 months. But then, get this: since the beginning of the trials, it's been six months now for many participants, and the post marketing experience is on hundreds of millions of people, not 30 to 45 thousand like in the trials. By now we can know with certainty that these vaccines are safer, actually safer than many others that are routinely administered.

As far as the speed of development and testing, the trials themselves were not abbreviated and were of adequate size. What was abbreviated was the red tape and the interval between trials; typically companies would proceed slowly to avoid financial losses, but with the governments cost-sharing, companies were able to move faster. Not to forget, they built upon earlier research done for the MERS.

Doctor saying it's good for 3 months: Probably based on the CDC waving the quarantine requirements for vaccinated people for only three months after the second dose. It doesn't necessarily mean that protection will be gone in 3 months. Many believe it will be at least one year. And do remember that there is cell immunity, too.

Oh well, the vaccine can cause some lymph nodes to swell in the arm pits especially on the side it was given. Big deal. First of all, this will go away fast. Second, it correlates so well with the vaccine that I am very surprised that someone would be upset about it and consider it a sign of breast cancer. This is still another exaggerated concern. It's incredible how emotional everybody is being about this. I blame the politicizing of Covid-19. We don't see this much concern and this much alarmism about any of the other multiple vaccines out there, some of which can also cause lymph nodes to swell.

It's downright comical how you will call the lady a malingerer, but believe every single lie told by Pharma advertising brochures. I can't help but wonder if you hold stock in Pharma, Doctor Center Field. It does appear that way.

You call the whistleblowers liars, but you hold the charlatan Fauci in high esteem. Pretty sad, Herr Doktor, perhaps revealing.

    Thank you for this.

I do not want the vaccine and I personally greatly prefer to boost my immune system using MSM, vitamin C, D3 and zinc and it is great to have more written information that may decrease the probability that I need to take the vaccine in order to continue to work as a janitor.

I have to admit that some of the posters here have me a little suspicious as well that they may well depend on BigPharma for a significant percentage of their income? Their opinion do not appear to be objective.

Concerning side effects after the vaccination.
I had the nastiest shingle outbreak, my DR and the local hospital have ever seen. It lasted 2 years. It was like getting a leg broken every week, or a few ribs kicked in every week or so.
First chance to get the vaccine, after healing up, I took it. No side effects at all, Nada.

Same with the bioNtech/Pfizer, 1 and 2 vaccination not even a hurting arm.

I take my 5 year Tetanus booster my arm hurts for 2 days.

3 of my employees have now had 2 vaccination, 1 hurting arm, 2 no side effects at all.

I have a couple of young teachers living on the farm ( 32 years old ). Both got Moderna, 2 days flue like symptoms from the 1. More like a head cold. Temp up, could no go to work, because they take the temp at the school.

Back to Shingles. My right side back and front is badly scared. Every time I get stressed, be it work, private or as today weather, the scars burn slightly and are red. Without the vaccine I would have a break out.
Luckily I have a rather high pain tolerance, do not take any painkillers, if, during those 2 years, I would be addicted today.

I run a Laundry business, dirty cloth from people I do not know, every day, plus public, self serving, got 10 employees, they are my responsibility.
You bet I got my self informed, red everything I could lay my hands on. If Quantumnerd or centerfield write their stuff, I meanwhile can follow it and it collaborates with all the other sources I have read.

    Pharma hacks, are you kidding.
Best info you can get and than follow up on it.
Real science, not hodi wopi supplementation stuff, which is voodoo and rather big money

One more thing a immune system that does not know the intruder, as good as it may be, can not properly defend against the intruder.
That is what a vaccine does train the immune system against the unknown intruder.

I see that someone I ignore is again talking about the naïve, lay-person's kind of idea that people need to expose themselves to the SARS-CoV-2 to train their immune system. Uh, nope. We don't do this for a seriously aggressive virus for which there is no rescue treatment. If people do this, they just... risk getting very sick! They won't have the time to develop the immunity, if they are at all prone to a severe case of Covid-19 given the various factors that can make it worse. That's exactly why it is important to develop vaccines when we're facing such a dangerous virus so that we train the immune system BEFORE the person gets exposed to the virus. Sure, kids should not be in bubbles... should go out and mingle and all... but to make it understood, we can expose kids to the common cold and all in their daily lives and they probably with time will be more immunocompetent... but we don't purposely expose them to tuberculosis, leprosy, meningitis... The really dangerous bugs, we stay away from them and try to develop safe and efficacious vaccines.

Thank you for the somewhat encouraging information relevant to this vaccine.....
I have not yet one hundred percent ruled out my taking it because if I refuse to take it I may well lose my job so I am reserving my final decision to the latest possible moment........

You might wish to research this:

    http://www.msm-info.com/#Stress

I took nutritional sulphur since 1999 and it sure seems to have boosted my own immune system and did the same for my wife and for her older sister and for her mom as well as for several neighbours.

I am self educated, ok. People like you help me.
I used to be a equestrian, Three Day Eventing. Probably the most toughest and complicated sport to do, for horse and rider.

All the supplements came up and became rather big.
I had a ranking in the top 500, world wide. Naturally since my horses and I had to go through the extremes of this sport every day I always wanted some help, for our bodies, which would not be doping.
So, those supplements. They did not do crap. Opposite we lost performance.
So I did some serious research. Chemistry and me two worlds collide.
But the point is, we are chemestry. I quit the stuff, because I do not have a standard, source regulated diet. With my horses that was easy. I buy hay and the grain based feed for a year. They are the same batch. Send them of have them analyzed and than if needed supplement.
Without knowing what is in your water and food, once you supplement, you might create the oposit effect and even create a toxic effect.

Chemestry is 1+1=2. You have a margin. But my guess all those supplementation folks have no idea how to balance it and probably, not just probably, negate, or toxicat.
This is what I learned as a top athlete, its all chemestry, no matter what, bio, natural, chemical, they just come from different origins/sources.
Still chemicals and math rules them.

In 1996 I had pneumonia in one lung and could not work for a full month....
In 1997 and again in 1998 I again had bronchitis for a month and could not work because the bronchitis had identical symptoms to the pneumonia. Strangely enough it was August - September and into October when I got this each time.

In 1999 I began to take MSM and my allergic reactions to dust and hay greatly decreased..... plus I never again had either pneumonia or bronchitis.

I also noticed that the frequency with which I got colds or flu dramatically decreased. I tripled my intake of MSM since I had to take one COVID 19 test in July of 2020 and since then I have not had to take another test because I did not have so much as a sore throat or other significant cold symptom.

There are reasons why you can see MSM for sale in most pharmacies, even Walmart.

You are taking a chemical, without knowing the chemical balance of your body, or the food and water you take in every day.

Don't be fooled by the label of all natural, its BS. If you have a run of the mill healthy diet, fresh stuff meat and vegies and some fruit. You should be fine. A few hours outdoors per day, you should be fine.

Stress is a mental issue, more an attitude problem. I have been stressed to the utmost limits, can you imaging, that you have no memory of what happened the last 20 minutes, because your brain could not record anymore, just act.
I have 15 events, were I reach that overload, perfect, but no memory. Even seeing video a or pictures, would not trigger memory

Nutritional sulphur is really not a chemical.....
...(and if so it would be termed an organic chemical).... not inorganic.....
it is always derived from a plant source.....
Back in 1999 when I began to take MSM it was usually derived from the bark of trees that was discarded by pulp mills.

I think that this was the same book that a friend of mine loaned me back in the summer of 1999.
