Republican Sen. Ron Johnson forces Senate to read all 628 pages of Biden's COVID bill aloud

The schools are open in many RP states.
If the RP was a real opposition party it would never want the existing failed education system "open" again.

 

Johnson’s moronic stunt seems to have backfired. Because neither he nor any of the other Republicans stayed for the reading, at its conclusion Van Hollen moved that the debate be shortened from 20 hours to just 3. “Without objection”, the motion passed....

So, Senator Dimwit managed to waste 11 hours of pointless reading of the bill, only to see the Dems save 17...........net effect? No delay...

It's a 600 page bill, not 6000. And I can easily read 600 pages in 6 hours.

 

I have no problem with this. I've advocated before that ALL bills should be read allowed before passing them. And ALL politicians should have to sit and listen to each bill that is read.
