8 Dead one wounded at 3 Asian Spas in Atlanta area suspect arrested.

The media, as always, was quick to jump on this and label it as a racist attack. They were salivating that it could be blamed in part on Trump. That had, and still have seemingly every Asian person on TV talking about how they are being discriminated against. The reality of this shooting incident looks like it’s really illegal prostitution that is being discriminated against. Apparently a lot of prostitution is in Asian “message parlors”. It seems the default setting for most of the media these days is anything a white man does is racist.

 

Similar to the poster who, earlier in the thread, assumed it must have been a black shooter as no pictures had been released at that point.
Speculating before the information comes out is dumb.

Personally I don't buy the shooters tale of sexual addiction made him do it??? I think he was driven by his right wing inspired hatred of Asians.

I’m leaning to a mentally deranged, self conflicted person with sexual And religious issues in his life. The story he is telling and the facts In the case all point to it. Why so many have to find a reason to insert race, especially against white men is getting old, at least for me.

I don't think it would be helpful since there is no reference to anything written a year ago in your posts in this thread other than you saying it was predicted (no link or reference given) and there is no evidence that it's a hate crime, so your prediction, if you made it, was wrong about this crime.

Maybe I did. I do remember I thought it. But I don't remember if I wrote it anywhere.

But Biden was accused of supposedly opposing travel restrictions to China (which he didn't). What he was actually doing was alerting that if Trump gave free reign to his xenophobia, the consequences to Asians would be dire. And Trump did, and hate crime to Asians did spike.

That's a bit of non sequitur in this thread since there is no evidence the shooting in this thread is a hate crime. I do admire the extreme effort exerted to make everything bad about Trump though. That does have a certain entertainment value.

 

That's a bit of a fixation of yours. I specifically said that there is a spike in crimes against Asians, and that this crime and that fact might just be coincidental. I already indicated, at least twice I believe, that I'm not saying that this was a hate crime, and that we would know eventually if it was or not.

However this crime did feed the conversation about the afore mentioned spike.

It’s been a couple of days, they have released the names of those killed. They are making it seem like they were wholesome family women. Killing is always wrong, but was this a whore house or not?

Recanting what? No idea what you're talking about. I really don't think it's a coincidence that hate crimes have spiked since Trump won in 2016. And as a side note, just in case there is any confusion, I also don't think it's a coincidence that crimes against Asians have spiked in the last year.

Obviously the random attacks are on anyone who looks Asian... thanks to the label of the china virus.

But, I commented somewhere else that I wasn't positive the massage parlor shooting was a hate crime and I got quite a few hateful comments back.
This guy had a sex addiction and these were places ( as far I understood) that he frequents. The guy is a hateful sick dude, but I'm not positive he shot up there because they were Asian.
