The anti-vaxxers argue the C19 shots are used to reduce the global population. There are now a dozen or so sources pushing disinformation about Covid-19 and vaccinations. Why, you might wonder.

A dozen anti-vaccine accounts are responsible for 65% of disinformation shared online, new report finds
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/vaccin...ia-center-for-countering-digital-hate-report/
A new report by the Center for Countering Digital Hate finds that "just 12 anti-vaxxers are responsible for almost two-thirds of anti-vaccine content circulating on social media platforms." The so-called "Disinformation Dozen" remain prominent figures on platforms like Facebook and Twitter, despite repeatedly violating their terms of service, according to the center.

For example. Americasfrontlinedoctors is a right-wing source who are pushing the "evil intent" conspircay theory heavily.

Exclusive: Former Pfizer VP to AFLDS: ‘Entirely possible this will be used for massive-scale depopulation’
    https://www.americasfrontlinedoctor...-will-be-used-for-massive-scale-depopulation/
“PLEASE warn every person not to go near top up vaccines. There is absolutely no need to them.

“As there’s no need for them, yet they’re being made in pharma, and regulators have stood aside (no safety testing), I can only deduce they will be used for nefarious purposes.

“For example, if someone wished to harm or kill a significant proportion of the worlds population over the next few years, the systems being put in place right now will enable it.

“It’s my considered view that it is entirely possible that this will be used for massive-scale depopulation.”

    Getting desperate PLF?

Time to start attacking the messengers? Time for slander of the messengers?

    Losing control of the narrative?

I'm seeing more SCAMDEMIC bumper stickers 'round here, and one guy was wearing a t shirt saying #Don'tWearTheMask

Can we just round up all the crazies and give them their own country?

Nah, they'd just declare war on all of us once they all started dying from lack of modern medicine, which they'd blame on us after they forbade all imports.

What do you think is the 'anti-vaxxer's' motive here?

In the case where an 'anti-vaxer' is offering an alternative that directly profits them, that is an entirely reasonable and likely true suspicion. What about the ones that don't stand to gain anything (other than avoiding side effects)?

    COVID-19: Anti-vax book sales surge (yahoo.com)

    Anti-vax is an industry.

Alexander suggested some are just nerds, which I agree with. It's what they do.

What's this there are those out there that don't want the vaccine when they need it? Everybody need to get it and I mean everybody. Get the point?

People also think the risks outweigh the benefits. This is currently the biggest objection in the United States. Parents cite many medical risks, including autism, as potential consequences of being vaccinated.

There is the common belief that since these diseases have been eliminated, there’s no need for vaccinations. Diseases will only stay eradicated as long as vaccines are still used to prevent them.

And many think that pharmaceutical companies can’t be trusted. They believe that pharmaceutical companies only want to sell their products, regardless of the impact on the people who use them.

The most common reasons that parents oppose vaccinations are medically unfounded.

People have a right to voice their opinion. If our government wanted to be trusted, then they shouldn't have fed the American people lie after lie these past years. Besides that our FDA has lost all credibility as well.

I remember a time when anything American was considered the safest in the world. Jack Kennedy even gave an award to the head of the FDA for not bowing to pressure from the corporations, and allowing a certain product to go through. It turned out that babies in Europe were being born deformed.

We have our share of anti-vaxxers spreading lies on Facebook. They were exposed as frauds in a live TV show, when a doctor phoned them one by one asking questions about their posts. None of them agreed to talk to the doctor.

    Seriously, Jeanette?

Thalidomide was developed in West Germany (need I write the name of the country with caps in bold and red?) and manufactured by the West Germany (caps, bold, red?) company Chemie Grünenthal GmbH. It wasn't approved by the FDA in the US, which explains why only babies in Europe were being born deformed.

Frances Oldham Kelsey, the head of the FDA at the time, was awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Federal Civilian Service for her refusal to approve Thalidomide.

So? Greta says global warming makes our wieners smaller and I read some article today claiming that by 2045 couples will have to use IVF because of plastics making us infertile. It isn't like others don't use this same tactic.

Very often it's merely the need to convince themselves that they exist.

Well they THINK they are. This is the problem these sites are set up to look professional, they have a lot of “articles” with “references” to make them appear pseudoscientific but when you dig into said references they are either to blogs, out of date rubbish or some other opinion piece that the author has written.

More often than not it is laced with emotive language aimed to mislead - as in the parody below

I see it as a fundamental belief that our society is evil and ought to be rebuilt from
the ground up - without the greedy, the nerds, the politicians, the conservatives,
    the rednecks, the religious etc..
And guess who will be in charge?

I think it's bullying, by people who are, or feel, powerless when away from keyboard. Social media empowered a lot of otherwise colorless, transparent individuals.

Sure, I agree. But there's something else. If you read Orwell's 1984 you see the same sort
of behavior from Big Brother when there was no Internet to speak of. Here there was thought
control, desecration of statues, eradication of the past, banning books, mass surveillance etc..
You can see all this taking place now.

I believe it would be careful (you know, some people here...) to note that the DHMO mentioned in the above attachment refers to...water.

Yes, the conspiracy theorists have managed to fool some people into such idiocy.
