these immigrants are hard workers with strong family values and religious beliefs. why are you so sure that they will not vote for republicans? why are so many immigrants escaping capitalist countries controlled by powerful usa agribusiness? why so few from nicaragua or venezuela?
Latinos are generally socially conservative, but it's hard to vote for a party that hates you just because of where you come from.

Any immigrant who comes here illegally or acts illegally while here should not have a path to citizenship. Period. There are millions of immigrants living here with green cards who have no desire or need to become a citizen. They are allowed to live here for the rest of their lives and are protected by our laws just as Americans are. Why is it so important for some to have foreign nationals deciding US public policy? A path to legality and a green card yes. No path to citizenship and if we did that the democrats would no longer care about these people coming here.
