Widespread civil disobedience?

Traveling around the southeast in private aircraft, I've noticed that all the places where private aircraft go, called Fixed Base Operations, have signs posted about mask wearing, but it is not enforced.

Not wearing a mask in 4 different locations in 2 different states yesterday, I expected to be challenged or harassed, but it didn't happen. In various locations some of the employees were wearing masks and some were not, and some of the customers were wearing masks and some were not.

Probably about half wearing and half not wearing.

This suggests to me that the law/regulation is being fairly well ignored, just as it is in Florida to the point that local mandates have been repealed.

What is the significance of this phenomenon?

It's not always natural, sometimes it's a bullet in the head. In this case people are putting themselves and others at risk of a deadly disease.

Hopefully people are starting to wake up to the hoax. In Wisconsin, mask wearing mandates are very largely not enforced (and is no longer a mandate at the State level). Maybe within the most uber liberal of liberal areas it gets enforced (like Madison and Milwaukee), but I don't do business in those areas. More people than not are still imprisoning themselves with the face diapers, but a number of people are not. Some, like me, have refused to comply with such mandates.

If a store says I have to wear a mask to enter, I do so as that is their right no different than them telling me I have to wear pants or shoes.

 

I have to wonder, do you whine this much about being forced to wear pants or a shirt or shoes? How about being forced to wear a seat belt?

With that horrid reality perhaps the government can be persuaded to distribute free cyanide capsules so those who live in a 24/7 state of hysteria over dread Covid can end their suffering and the rest of us can go about living our lives.

 

Where were you people when I was fighting to go barefoot into stores? Why were you not fighting for my right to do that????

 

If a store is doing so on their own accord (such as Menards and Costco), then I respect that decision and I then decide to take my business elsewhere.

If a store is being forced to do so against their personal wishes (such as most small businesses), then I ignore the sign and continue on with my business per usual, with nobody giving a **** about me not wearing one.

 

Most employees of stores (and other places of business) aren't getting paid enough to confront hostile anti-maskers.

 

Wearing clothing is just being decent. Little kids don't need to experience porn whenever going to the grocery store with their parents.

Being forced to wear a seat belt is unconstitutional utter bullshit as well. Many people do not comply with that mandate either. I personally choose to wear one because they mitigate bodily harm whenever vehicular accidents occur.

 

What anti-maskers are hostile? I am very kind towards others so long as they are not hostile towards me.

It is the maskholes who are hostile.

 

Most rules stores have is because the government makes them. It is the height of arrogance to assume you are greater than the business owner and do not need to follow their rules.

They do not say anything to you as they do not want to get attacked, but you could cost them fines and worse with your arrogance.

I am again traveling for business and have noticed that the folks in Democrat led states tend to be scared to death. I then walk into places and see why with the silly transparent shields hanging in between booths, shields hanging at registers, and mask nazis on the prowl.

No wonder you Democrat voters are scared to death.

 

So, I have to ask...taking precautions against a virus is being "scared to death" but needing to carry a gun 24/7 to protect yourself from whatever is not?
