Evil can always find apostles to serve it. It only needs locate the appropriate button to push. These days it's usually one of three, money, power, or pleasure not that those are new by any stretch if the imagination after all such have been evil's cheif calling card for decades.

    Definition of racism

1: a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

Unless this belief is the reason its not.

And this belief is being met almost entirely, excepting that we might have to slightly edit to say "claims of inferiority is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities."

Other then that, it's all the same. The use of race as an argument for a reasoning of policy.

And exactly what problem might that be?

No but discrimination based upon race most certainly is. If it’s not then tell me what the problem would be for increasing penalties for blacks who commit violent crimes.

If what they want is equality I’ll fight beside them to the death.

However, if what they want is inequality in blacks favor with their boot on the necks of white people I will fight them like a dying animal in the street until I lay exhausted and dead upon the field of battle.

When I read your OP, I though you were sincerely concerned about racism in this country....
now I see you are simply objecting to any assistance that may be offered to a (non-white) recipient.
I might wait til I see if that it is working for you....

Yeah... recognize every culture and every group has endured atrocities at the hands of others.... stop blaming people and playing the victim and take personal accountability and responsibility for your own lives and community.

That doesn't address the detrimental effects that racism has brought about in this society....
it merely reflects your own biased opinion. One of the common ideas in this thread seems to be to leave everything
just the way it is and it will work itself out...but that hasn't worked all that well for people of color.

Races other than Caucasian have been at a disadvantage in this society since the beginning...
can I ask why you chose that particular date?

Most of that statement sounds a bit exaggerated...and quite painful.

But what other reason is their to discriminate on the basis of race unless you believe that one race is either superior or inferior?

Asians play the game better that Caucasians do so do Jews. I chose 1980 because by that time almost all purely racial barriers had ceased to be.

No we are saying everyone is on an equal footing legally (except white people whom it is government sanctioned to discriminate against but I digress) so, move forward from there and stop trying to fix things that aren’t broke or that you’re incapable of legislating out in the first place.

Can you please explain what game you are referring to?

That would certainly be a welcome change.....how exactly did that come about?

If I understand you correctly you are stating that programs to help (non-whites) is discrimination toward whites....
and that programs aimed to assist minorities create imbalance. Is that correct?

Not exactly. I’m stating that a program to help non-whites inherently excludes whites based on their race. Any program which does so, regardless of any imbalance it proposes to create or solve, is irrelevant. The policy is discriminatory on its face.

But you seem content to ignore discriminatory policies from the past that created imbalances in the first place.
And now certain politicians wish to enact voting rules to make it even harder for some to vote....sounds a bit discriminatory
    does it not?

And the only alternative you have suggested so far is this.....
