So are you actually against discrimination....or are you just concerned with discrimination toward Caucasians?

The game of life American style. Get a real education get a real job and work your ass off.

The overwhelming majority of people outside DC and our two left coasts quit giving a damn about it. My daughter's second husband is Latino 2nd or third generation her best friend, is married to a Black guy. She is about as far from black as you can get, she and her husband have two of the cutest kids you've ever seen.

You will never get rid of racism by trying to jaw bone it to death. All you do is empower all the *******s and make people feel sorry for themselves, and nothing on God's green earth is nastier or sadder than a human being who feels sorry for him or herself.

In the end racism is a tar baby. The harder you swing at it the more caught up in it you get and eventually you can't even recognize yourself any more. Leave it alone and ignore these days and it'll just melt into a big ole gooey mess you can shovel into a pile and throw it on the ash heap where it would long ago have been did not leftist leaders need to distract the hoi polloi from from their insatiable lust for power.

". . . Redistribution agendas driven by race-based victimization narratives that demonize entire groups are bound to fail on many fronts. All available evidence indicates that family structure, educational attainment and workforce participation are the keys to reducing disparities. Thus, reforms that strengthen the family, prioritize student achievement and restore decent-paying jobs for the American working class would do much better at addressing the issues that equity initiatives ostensibly aim to solve. But doing that would be anathema to the equity advocates; to them, the fact that family formation and hard work lead to success is evidence that the system is broken. . . . "

I’m concerned with the double standard. That discrimination against caucasoids is acceptable and codified into law. But if you even breathe a word of discrimination against a black person expect hellfire to rain down.

if discrimination based upon race is okay I’m fine with that. If discrimination against race is NOT okay I’m fine with that. What im NOT fine with is discrimination against whites being acceptable but discrimination against anyone else is not.

Against whom are they seeking redress? People who had nothing to do with said inequality but happen to have the same color skin?

Because the inequality occurred years ago.

Doesn't work and the same inferior superior conundrum applies to that as well.

We can argue about that all you’d like but it’s really a moot point because at the end of the day how do you know they ARE guilty of doing something bad other than the fact they have white skin?

Maybe 150 or so years ago, I would have agreed with that idea...but time has proved that solution wrong.
Black folks not only risked their lives fighting our foreign wars...
they risked them here at home just trying to claim the same rights and privileges whites have had all along...
simple things like drinking out of a water fountain, or choosing your seat on a bus.
Those things were not just handed to them after the passage of time as you are claiming.
They had to risk their lives for things white folks take for granted.
I can't help wonder how you would react if you were a black person back then....how long would you have survived

Again 150 years ago you'd have been wrong. Today the number of actual racist is minimal and they have literally zero power in this country. Most are either in jail or older than fog or both.

    Very good question!!!
Now replace the words "white skin" with black skin...
Common practice to be stopped by police for "driving while black"....
or someone calling the police because a black man is walking through their neighborhood.
These things are current...not some ancient stories from the past.

Yes. That's exactly what I am saying. It is wrong to insist....
It hasn't ...."just melted away"...as you are claiming..... not in 150 years...not ever....
they have had to risk their lives for privileges that whites are born with ....
simply because of the color of their skin

The 'grown ups' in this case want to see racism continue forever. They lack the insight to recognise that that's what's motivating them.

Which might have been a point, back before NON-WHITES were statistically richer and better educated than whites in America.

And yet those things rarely happen to Indian and African migrants - who are also dark skinned.

As that goes, then whites are inferior. Non Whites are both richer and better educated, statistically. Have been for years now.

And when you have to redress the inequality caused by this redress of inequality - what then? And the one after that? And the one after that?

Of course you're not fine with it, because you're not a racist.

Anyone who is okay with race discrimination - for ANY reason, has real problems.

This problem effects us all...doesn't matter if we are okay with it or not....it's still a problem.
Ignoring it doesn't help....it just gets worse and is getting worse. It's not one persons fault or one party's fault as you are claiming.

The fact that some non white folks have more money than some whites does not mean the situation has reversed....
do you now resent non whites even more if they are rich and educated?
