Ahh, once again facts put the kibosh on the right wing media hyperbol regarding Black Lives Matter:

At least 90 percent of charges against Black Lives Matter protesters in a dozen jurisdictions have been dropped, dismissed or not filed, according to an analysis by The Guardian. Such a high percentage suggests that the police may have been arresting people simply to suppress dissent.

In Houston and Los Angeles, The Guardian found, 93 percent of charges were either dropped or never filed; in some cities like Dallas and Philadelphia, that number rose to 95 percent of charges dropped or never prosecuted. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, 100 percent of 127 cases related to peaceful protesting were dropped.

 

It's not the Right Wing cities or towns that have to live with BLM violence and destruction. Why do you think the violence and destruction are in these cities. . .cause the DA doesn't prosecute.

Take the greatest example with the city of Portland. It has to be thousands of video's now showing just full on illegal destruction, violence, assault, battery. Why does it continue. . .cause the city allows it. The DA just lets the people go. And we have full view of what happens in these cities when you bow to the mob, they keep mobbing.

Certainly feel for those stuck in those cities trying to raise children or run any retail businesses. They are getting screwed by their government, whose number 1 job is to keep the peace.

 

Which part of a Walgreens or Dollar Store burning to the ground is "peaceful".....

 

Violent rioters, looters and arsonists are getting away with their crimes, Yay!!!! Black privilege is a thing, a real thing.

 

Dropping charges doesn’t mean they were innocent. It doesn’t even mean they didn’t have enough to convict. It simply means these democrats DA’s and governors are letting them commit wonton mayhem and violence without repercussion because it furthers the left’s agenda.

Cops don't press charges. They make arrest. The DA dismisses or prosecutes cases.

When the law is held unevenly, then the law is irrelevant. The law as a specter of a political weapon also makes the law irrelevant. We are reaching such a pivotal point in American history where the law as a matter of subjectivity picks the winners and losers.

Actually, we reached the high water mark on that with trump. Now we are returning to the rule of law instead of pandering to the whims of a malignant narcissist.

Meanwhile, their attempts to drag BLM down to their level has also failed.
They must have been sleeping during civics class when they studied the difference between seditious insurrection and protesting.

 

That would be the prosecution, they have no legs to stand on. And this statement by a federal Judge on similar charges perfectly describes why:

“While the Government presented evidence of vile and often hateful speech, and may have even shown that certain defendants conspired to commit some crime – perhaps to murder local law enforcement – offensive speech and a conspiracy to do something other than forcibly resist a positive show of authority by the Federal Government is not enough to sustain a charge of seditious conspiracy,” Roberts wrote.

We have the same situation in this over broad attempt by the Government in this instance as well. Furthermore, I can make an even more damning argument against the Government's case: The government attempts to claim this to be an insurrection against the government, but what was the Seat of Government on the 6th?

The Seat of Government was the Donald Trump Presidency. So to claim that there was an insurrection, very basically is to claim the attempt of overthrowing the Trump government. That's the only claim the Prosecution could reasonably make with an insurrection attempt.

Interfering with the Congressional actions have its own separate laws, which have been charged by the Prosecution. And those are fine. But the Prosecution possesses no evidence of an event, let alone an actual insurrection against the Seat of government.

I would ask the Judge to throw out all considerations of Insurrection as frivolous to the Court, there's no reason to discuss something which the evidence doesn't bare fruit.

I love that these leftist DAs don't prosecute these rioters burning down their cities and robbing their own stores. Keeps them where them belong. In a leftist ruled city.
My city prosecutes rioters and thieves so we don't have those problems here. No riots, No burning businesses, No burning cars, No shop owners beaten, No boarded up stores, and No cops or civilians being killed.

Why would they come here where they get years in prison or shot with no leftist organizations bailing them out of jail when they have have all the Seattle's they want.
