    :roflol:

"Behind the Curve" is "Behind the Curve".

    It is what it is.
    Thanks for playing.:bored:

Anyway, back onto the actual OP Topic:

Facebook tried to punt the Trump decision. That backfired

We need an online test that users must take before they can use words like fascists or communism. If you get it wrong (multiple choice) if you use the word it gets replaced with "***".

Indeed. Liberals keep saying fascism is "right wing" but seem to have no concept of the fact that "right and left" in Europe mean different things today, and meant even more different things in the 1900s. The core commonality is a corrupt partnership between corporations and government, which is exactly what we're seeing today with Google/Apple/FascistBook/Twatter etc.

From what I have read they basically said no we are not going to decide. MZ has to first establish a set of clear oversight rules before they can make these decisions and until he does, it is solely up to him since he is the one who banned Trump to begin with.

Did he really crash that wedding? I feel kinda bad for him. He absolutely has to be in the spotlight and it's driving him up the wall that he's not.

Blah, blah, blah... doesn't show why you think that a private company enforcing their terms of service is "fascist". In fact it seems to indicate a level of ignorance.

They're not enforcing their terms of service. They're completely cool with the leader of Iran wanting to blow up Israel in a post or someone like Maxine calling for violence.

With 2.74 billion monthly users they are unable to police all and react to complaints. They bent way over backwards with T**** but he kept accelerating and they were left without a choice really.

I thought deleting his two posts calling for the Jan 6 protestors to be peaceful and go home was especially bizarre.

To their destruction “We love you, you’re very special.” is not a good response. Especially from someone who had waited so long to even do that.

    Why?

Those tweets deserved to be deleted.

What did you find so "bizarre" about their deletion?

It won't be long before we can shed government. The social media sites and search engines can tell us what to do instead. I would prefer to keep government since it is weaker.

    How will they do that?

In what way does FB control my actions?

    They DON'T.

    ^And, Everybody Knows That.

However, among the "Lookie Here! Facebook Bad!" Crowd, there has always been an epidrmic of unfounded paranoid hyperbole.

    It is what it is.

By deciding what you can see and what you can't.

It may not. It certainly doesn't affect me at all. But it certainly influences the actions of some people.

I use FB to communicate with family and friends. Nothing more. I do not use it to "see" anything.

Fascbook's ongoing banning and censorship is ongoing.

Evidently you grasp the definition of "ongoing" about as well as you grasp the difference between the Political Forum and Fascbook.

    Have an obtuse day...
